Fun Finds on Friday

Hi, Moxie Fabbers!
Hooray! We made it to Friday!
St. Patrick's Day, stamping and a super deep secret are among this week's Fun Finds.
5... 4... 3... 2... Go!

Fun Find #1
Save yourself from getting pinched on Monday by whipping up a pair of sparkly Lucky Clover earrings like these.

Shaunte Wadley shared them over on the Core'dinations blog the other day. And Shaunte made making them look so easy! I think I might make a pair for myself this weekend.

Fun Find #2
Here's a fun and easy St. Patrick's Day idea from Homemaking Hacks. Fill a couple bags of candy with chocolate and finish them off with cute "Kiss Me. I'm Irish." banners.

This link will take you to the Homemaking Hacks post with the free printable! (Go. Fast. It's fun and free! Free is good.)

Fun Find #3
Speaking of St. Patrick's Day and free printables, check out this one from Five Heart Home

Go to this post on Five Heart Home to download their printable.

Fun Find #4
Oh, for cute!
Check out this adorable "Pot of Gold" treat box Joy Dickson shared on the SEI Lifestyle blog.

Yes, there's real gold-wrapped candy at the top! Yes, it really is a treat box. Check out Joy's post to see just how she did it.

Fun Find #5
Want to win all of this

Here's the scoop: Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking magazine holds a Stamping Royalty contest every year.
Folks make cards that involve the technique of stamping. They send their cards to Utah. A panel of folks blindly looks at all the entries and then picks some Stamping Royalty winners. The winners get a fabulous box of prizes. This year's winners get the stuff you see in the picture above.
Entries for this year's contest must be postmarked by Monday, March 17th. You can find all the rules and details here
And let me tell you a deep, dark secret: A long, long, LONG time ago, I was one of the winners. In fact, I was one of the contest's first-ever winners. They called us "Stamping Queens" that year. The title changed to Stamping Royalty the next year.
I wasn't much of a stamper at the time. I owned maybe a dozen stamps. I ultimately entered because winners would get some free stamps if they won, including some from a company I had a serious product crush on. And to get a few new stamps I didn't have to pay anything for sounded pretty great to me.
So I entered, never really thinking I'd win.
Well, wouldn't you know it? Shock of shocks. I got the call.
To this day, I still remember the then-managing editor telling me that they were even sending me a crown. And there was silence on my end of the line.
"You don't have to wear it."
Still makes me chuckle!
By the way, there are no known "Teri with crown" pictures, but here's my winning card ... from forever ago.

My style and stamping skills (and stamp collection) have changed a lot since then.
I have two bits of advice for those of you wanting to enter. First, make sure your cards have actual stamping on them. Believe it or not, there have been entries in the past have not had an ounce of stamping on them.
And two: Just have fun with it! You just might win.

Happy Friday,
Teri
