Quintessential fall!!
I've got a couple of squirrels in my yard who would scarf that acorn up in a SECOND! :)
What a gorgeous picture of Autumn!
This pic just reminds me about my childhood, where we had a tree with these just outside our place, and my brother and me used to play hours in that huge tree every fall when the nuts were about ready to eat. I actually don´t think, I´ve ever seen them in the trees ever since then, I´m afraid??

You always find the best pictures! Of course with all the rain we've been having due to Hurricane Sandy, our pictures of fall are a Loy muddier and messier.
The acorn is such a simple image but ohhhhhhhhh so gorgeous.
