The Minty Fresh Challenge Winners

Oh my friends! I'm so excited to show you the winning projects from our Minty Fresh Challenge as there is such an eclectic mix of moxie fabulousness. So much so, that I want to just jump right in! So I will! Check it:

Sweet Birthday Wishes Card by Sarah Martina Parker

Moxie Fab Alert: The word that first comes to my mind when I look at this card is dreamy. Not only has Sarah Martina placed the visual focus of her card on mint green, but she's chosen some exquisite colors to set it off. The soothing aqua blue, the soft touches of brown, and the whisper of coral give the sense that everything in this card is working together to create a dream from which I never want to wake up. The fact that it all plays out on a creamy white background with a minty fresh sentiment makes me want to crawl right in and live here forever.

Best Wishes Card by Ashley N. Newell

Moxie Fab Alert: I absolutely adore this card. The chevron background is hip, the Polaroid treatment is fun, and the burlap twine and buttons help to ground it all with style. And that washi tape in the top right-hand corner? The perfect way to tie it all in. It doesn't get a whole lot more moxie fab than this, my friends!

 Hydrangea Thank You Card by Lin

Moxie Fab Alert: This is, in my humble opinion, a perfect card. There is a gorgeous focal point that is expertly stamped. The focal point stands out because it is placed on a lovely neutral. The focal point stands out also because it is beautifully framed, not just once, but twice--once with the scalloped edge and again with the brown, which also happens to be a lovely complimentary color. The background pattern is subtle and doesn't compete with the focal point; in fact, it does nothing but enhance it. And lastly, the sentiment is exquisitely placed, tied on to the focal point with a pretty but innocuous bow. This card is balanced. It is striking. It plays beautifully to the strength of the challenge's focus: mint. It is, in three words, simply moxie fab.

Feathered Thanks Card by Alice W.

Moxie Fab Alert: Who doesn't swoon when mint green is paired with pink? Put it all on kraft with touches of white, and I'm practically fainting. Add some doilies, some trendy feathers, a coupla pretty buttons, a lovely sentiment, and some washi tape (the feathers are made out of washi tape, too), and I'm close to hyperventilating. Take a risk and make it asymmetrical? I'm flying into the stratosphere!

Vintage Hello Card by Piali Biswas

Moxie Fab Alert: Piali didn't have any mint product in her stash, so she turned to her Versamark inks and created this gorgeous card with a romantic flare. From the coloring of the white embossed roses to the dyed ribbon to the tiny butterfly, the mint touches are simply divine. And yet, it's the banner that looks tea-stained, the jewels reminiscent of a grandmother's brooch, the hint of lace that suggest the top of a lady's glove, and the vintage turquoise resin flower that fill this card with wonder-mint!

Aren't these cards just so striking, friends? I couldn't be more pleased. And these are just the top five. There are even more amazing examples of minty fresh inspiration throughout the challenge. If you haven't already clicked through the links, I encourage you to do so!
