Haven't we been having just so much fun in this week-long celebration of the release of Holiday Cards & More, my paper crafty friends? I've had such a good time showing off some of my personal favies from the issue, and I'm not gonna lie, you might say that today I've saved some of the very best for last.
Because that's what paper crafted seasonal decor does, doesn't it? It lasts and lasts and lasts. And if you're like me, you know that one of the things that is the most fun about Christmastime is pulling out the holiday decor that you've gathered (and possibly made) over the years and setting it out on the mantel, tabletops, walls, and shelves for your family and friends to enjoy.
And man-oh-man do we have an assemblage of loveliness in this category for you! Too bad I can only show you three, because I could have easily shown you every single one of the items from the issue they are THAT moxie fab. Check it:

Moxie Fab Alert: Oh my friends! This shadow box is so trendy and so ah-mazing it could have come straight from the National Stationery Show floor itself. Between the layers and dimension, the perfect pops of red, and the very idea of a bird on a swing, this project has me swooning with yuletide joy!

The only paper crafted home decor that we display is cards that we've received from the year before... I'm going to try to make some REAL holiday decor this year!
This has inspired me to make some snowflake ornaments so we can imagine snow when we celebrate a hot Australian Christmas.
i usually make ornaments for Dh's annual Christmas party. I have made different kinds often using paper. Just came up with an idea yesterday for this year's.
We put out some cards that that our friend from Japan send us every year.They are intricately cut designs that usually are 3-D and oh so pretty. They make us think of her and her wonderful smile.
These are great decor projects.
I made a Christmas tree out of paper pieces and display it each year.
My hubby and I like to put up cards that we received through the various years. I also created a wall hanging featuring one of our bunnies that we hang up every year.
I really love the frame with the laundry. I really need to do this more with cards, layouts, and projects. Thanks for the inspiration!
I have created candle decorations. Need to create some more home decor pieces.

This year I'm trying my hand at some shaker ornaments. :) I'm not sure I'll come close to the level of these projects, though - wowzers!

My favorite decorations are the ornaments that the kids and grandkids have made over the years! Always makes me feel so happy to see them on the tree!
I have a collection of little vintage tags I made. I add to them each year. They look wonderful on the Christmas tree, and I can tailor them to match our home decor. I also have made a bunch of mini boxes in various shapes and sizes. But that shadow box beats everything...it is amazing!
My mom and I have made many handmade ornaments over the years and enjoy taking them out each year and putting them on the tree.
When the kids were younger we used to make paper craft ornaments. Now they are occupied by other activities. But the inspiration got me thinking, why not do some just for me?!
I have made differnt types of ornaments and once upon a time I made an advent calendar but I think that will be replaced. (Hopefully this year!) LOVE the shadow box - that's absolutely gorgeous!

Vera's shadow box card is absolutely STUNNING! Love the depth! I have saved all of my childrens paper crafted ornaments over the years and every holiday season when I open up that box the memories just come flooding back and I'm in my happy place!

I've made some mantel banners and a bunch of Christmas ornaments in the past. And wreaths. Must not forget the wreaths. However, I'm LOVING the shadow boxes and it occurs to me that I picked up a blank one from SEI at CKC... hmmm...

Wow for that shadow box, stunning!!! I have ppapercrafts christmas ornaments which were made by my son since he started school, I love to display those on the Christmas tree!! It just holds a special place in my heart!
I have several seasonal banners I hang up which I just love. Each banner holds a different letter and showcases many fun techniques. And I have two chipboard mini books featuring holiday photos and seasonal family traditions that I love to display each year!
I don't have any homemade things I display during the holidays but after seeing that frame, I'm thinking I need to create some!

I LOVE that shadow box and ornament! I make photo ornaments each year of the pictures of my kids on santa's lap... I also have a fun paper banner to hang up, a little paper village and wreaths! Love it!

I've made accordian cards for both Thanksgiving and Christmas to put up on the fireplace mantel. It was really fun to decorate each panel and have a personal touch in decorating the house. This year I hope to make a large banner with Christmas decorations.
I am so impressed with the shadow box. It is simply gorgeous and very clever. The ornament is beautiful as well and seems like a "doable" project.
Last year I made paper wreaths for myself and as gifts for family, so I'm looking forward to hanging that up again this year. These are so great...I love the little red bird against the white!

Almost every year I bring out some origami ornaments to hang on our tree. They're getting more fragile each year so I'll probably have to make new ones soon!

I love the shadowbox! I always have some type of paper crafted decor around the house. Right now I have a paper crafted wreath on my front door. Let's hope I remember to move it if it rains!

I don't have any paper-crafted items for Christmas. I do have lots of counted cross-stitched and needlepointed ornaments that I hang on a christmas tree each year. I've been stitching these for many years and it's a treat to get them out and renew old friendships each Christmas

Oh gosh, I have so many ideas floating around in my head right now! What inspiration, from the Christmas blog hop to the projects on Moxie Fab! I don't know which one to try first! Right now I can't think of any paper crafts I put out at Christmas, but have lots of fabric crafts that I put out each that I made. I was into fabric before I did paper crafts. This year I am going to make some paper chains, just like in first grade, for decorating my tree or mixing with my old fashioned Santa Collection! Or Primitive Snowman Collection! I made some angels last year using paper circles. Look forward to taking them out and decorating with them this year. Also I have several decorations my son and I have made over the years. Always fun to take them out.
I'm thinking of making some snowflake ornaments. Especially after seeing the one that you showcased. Also I'll make a couple of ornaments for the grandchildren. May even make some ornaments to leave as tips when I go out to eat.

I have a village made of paper buildings that my step daughter made more than 20 years ago. I love to add cotton snow and small village accessories to this beautiful set.

I made a Christmas banner, well, at least I made the majority of a Christmas banner. It remains to be embellished and I can't seem to be able to motivate myself to do so! Next time, I won't work on such a grand scale!!
I love the shadow box and Santa's clothes line (which would make a great card!). I've made ornaments for the tree with my girls and we have a origami paper wreath we hang on the front door.
I have a Xmas framed collage that I had made in a class at a lss which I love and have made another for a gift.

we don't celebrate "The Holidays". i just got a stencil for something similar to the tree with the bird, and i cut it out with my x-acto knife. it looks very similar to that card when i am done. i need to make more dimensional cards.

I paper craft my Christmas tree ornaments! It started with the Tim Holtz Christmas Tags feature he used to do every year. I had so many lovely tags I decided to decorate my tree! As a kid, we handmade our decorations so it's perfect! Thanks for the chance to win!

I love purchasing Holiday Cards & More for card and decorating ideas. I do have a set of 3 paper mache reindeer that I sprayed silver and decorated. I make my own cards and tags for gift giving. I would LOVE to win a copy of Holiday Cards & More.
Honestly, I probably have a kazillion paper crafted Christmas ornaments that I carefully remove from their packing boxes and proudly display them....pretty much in every nook & corner of the house. Happy to report that probably 99.9% of them were inspired by one of Papercrafts publications (cuz I could never come up with those ideas on my own!)
I do have handmade decorations. Kraft paper cones filled with ivy that I hang in my windows.

I am inspired by the snowflake ornament. I don't - as yet! - have any papercraft home decor projects, but I do have some felt tree ornaments which I have decorated with tiny beads & sequins.
Last year I started the Advent Box from Silhouette and will hopefully finish it this year! I'm sure I will get LOTS of inspiration from this upcoming issue!

My favorite paper crafted ornament is one my son made in second grade (he is 21 now). It is a wreath made out of jigsaw puzzle pieces spray painted green, glued to a piece of cardstock with his class picture in the middle of it. I really don't have any beautiful creations like the ones pictured in the blog, but they certainly have inspired me to get to work.

My husband always brings out a Thanksgiving home decor paper project--a turkey made out of a brown paper bag, construction paper feathers, googly eyes made by his daughter twenty years ago!

Yes I have a two page 12x12 layout that I attached from top to bottom, and has a hanger on top. It's advent inspired and chronicles our crazy month with 4 December birthdays and holiday traditions week by week!

I think I may have a Christmas stocking made out of red construction paper and sewn along the edges with pink yarn---a project from when I was in kindergarten or first grade---42 years ago!

We have paper ornaments that we have made through out the years that are on our Christmas tree. This year I will be making vinyl subway art for some of our windows also and of course we always display the homemade Christmas cards that we receive.
That foil snowflake is stunning. I have loads of plans for Christmas projects including making all my own Christmas cards. I usually start in early October. Thank you for the inspiration and all the ideas I get here.
I have a toilet roll reindeer that my son made in Kindergarten that I still get out each year. Love all these projects -- so well done. I think that Windy's would probably be the easiest for me to complete though!
I do have some paper ornaments that are vintage that I add to my tree. I also have precious ornaments that my children have made when they were little...treasures in paper....
It is time to get started on the cards, so this is perfect!
That shadow box has stolen my heart! I have some very precious things that my children have made, they are displayed year round in my memory room.
Christmas is definitely the time of the year for family and friends to get together and have a blast. With all the holiday stuff the people have created for the past years, I'm sure that everyone will be all smiles as they feel the spirit of the season. I'm also gonna make more of the decors you showed us. I hope it'll be as good as the one posted. :)
