While the latest and greatest issue of Stamp It! Cards has proven to be as inspiring as ever, so, too, are your challenge entries for our Stamp It! Cards Week promotional challenges. I know I say this every time, but it's true. It becomes increasingly difficult to narrow down my choices to two winners in every category. And so, as I did with our last promotional week challenge, the Card Creations Week Challenge I'm also linking to three moxie notables in each category as well.
We've got a lot of ground to cover today, so let's just jump right in, shall we?
The winners of the Thank You Card Challenge in Stamp It! Cards Week are:
Moxie Fab Alert: I could tell that Sue was paying attention when I said in the instructions for this challenge, Create a thank you card in which stamping is the primary technique. Indeed, everything on this card but the twine is stamped, and so expertly at that. The tone-on-tone stamping she did for the background has rendered me breathless, and the unexpected color scheme is risky and wonderful all at the same time.
Moxie Fab Alert: Not only is this card wonderfully trendy, but I just love the fact that Annette has stamped on some washi tape to create a funky effect! And note the movement in the card. See how the lines keep taking your eyes around and around the design? It's an effect that adds a liveliness to this already vibrant card!
Next up, the winners of the Congratulations Card Challenge:
Moxie Fab Alert: Simple, fun, and lovely, this card has a balance in its design that makes my heart sing!
Moxie Fab Alert: I gasped out loud when I first saw this card. I love the detail in the stamped flowers that Karen fussy cut before placing them to the left of the gorgeous die-cut frame. The font choice is perfect for the tone of the card, and the fact that she kept the color scheme really simple gives it an unmistakable dramatic power.
In our Hello Card Challenge, these are the winning cards:
Moxie Fab Alert: Sweet as pie, the image of this little cutie waving her tiny arm from atop that fluffy snowbank with a dusting of sparkly snowflakes in the background simply melted my heart at first glance.
Moxie Fab Alert: The fun and cute factor in this card is as high as the sky! Fun butterflies, cute scallop edging, fun dimension, cute little "hello." And that pop of a color scheme? Moxie to the fab!
Moving right along, here are the winners of the Love Card Challenge:
Moxie Fab Alert: How do I love thee? Let me count the ways. First off: color scheme. Secondly: texture and dimension. And finally: movement. The cutie little sentiment in the bottom right-hand corner doesn't hurt, either.
Moxie Fab Alert: Oh my edgy trendy moxie fabulousness, Piali! I absolutely adore this card on so many levels I am profoundly speechless. (And that doesn't happen very often.)
And last but certainly not least, the winner of the Birthday Card Challenge:
Moxie Fab Alert: This card is magical. It's in the way the flowers move from left to right, sweeping our eyes to the top of the card in a spray of intense color, dark to light. It's in the layered pops of dimension making it come to life. It's in the perfectly placed sentiment. It's in the rhinestones, so minimal, and yet so necessary. It's in the gasp that you utter when you see it, a breath that wins you over to its loveliness forever.
Moxie Fab Alert: There is so much joy in this card I can hardly stand it. Light, airy, and delightful, the coloring in this image has me skipping merrily along with the rest of my day, and into my dreams.
Join me in congratulating these talented stampers, friends. I'd also like to offer a special thanks to all 540 of you who joined in on this challenge. There are so many moxie fab cards that I could have featured here today, and as I mentioned in this post, you are a winner every time you take the risk to play.
Winners (that is, those of you whose pictured cards were featured), please send me your address in an email to firstname.lastname@example.org and I'll set you up with your "I'm Moxie Fab" challenge winning buttons for your blogs as well as a copy of Stamp It! Cards, Volume 9.
If you'd like to leave some love for these ladies before you go today, I'll send two random luckies a copy of Stamp It! Cards just for taking the time to do so. Just be sure your comment is registered by midnight EDT on Sunday, July 29.
I am so stinkin' inspired!
PS Now that this challenge has wrapped up, it's time to turn your attentions to our Hooked on Hexagons Challenge. I mean seriously, how much more fun does it ever get? Entries are due at midnight on Monday.
