Five (x2) for Friday: Links You'll Love

I hope you've had a great week, Moxie Fabbers. I know I have. My surgeon cleared me to drive on Tuesday, which has spelled f-r-e-e-d-o-m for me, of course, but especially for my sweet husband who has been chauffering me everywhere I've needed to go the past seven plus weeks. I'm still having to ease back into my life gradually, and am still taking it one day at a time, but it seems as though each day I can do something more than I could the day before, and I am so very grateful.

(Although, note to self, don't schedule a dentist appointment even 7 weeks post rotator cuff repair surgery. If you still can't sleep in a bed, you're not going to be able to lie down in that chair very comfortably, either. Yowzers!)

My mom is visiting this week (hurray!), so I've got a quick post chock full of some links that I'm sure you'll love. Check it:

A juicy ensemble to inspire your summer projects.

For you moms who are already counting the days before school starts, here are some fun photos that creatively celebrates the delightful mischief of childhood.

A cutie little video that puts together a paper pieced lovey dovey message.

Not your ordinary Tumblr blog, Cubicle Refugee offers amazing photos in a fabulous rainbow array. But beware, you may see the occasional naughty word as you scroll.

A card company that makes it their business to make art out of cards--something we should all think about doing with our favorite creations.

A link to 50 hand-carved stamps!

How's about a moxie fab blast from the past?

This trend is still going strong. Here's a link for even more.

Take some time to do this this summer!

Now this was a party to remember!

Have a great weekend, m'friends!

~Cath

I LOVE the card company that makes their cards ART!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT is EXACTLY what I try to do when making my cards---It usually happens when I'm just TOTALLY PLAYING & NOT following a predetermined sketch! Collage type cards tend to be more ART! (At least from my point of view!) It makes one think OUT SIDE OF THE BOX when making cards! I don't FRAME them but, I STILL view them as ART!There is a FREEDOM when making your cards when you view them this way! :)
