The Fascination with Feathers Challenge

TGIF, Moxie Fabbers! I hope you've had a good week! I thought I'd send you off on your way to a fun weekend with a challenge straight from the Moxie Fabs column of the March/April issue of Paper Crafts magazine.

Moxie Fab Alert: I don't know when I've seen such a gorgeous card, and because they are so popular, feathers are now being incorporated into all kinds of accents and embellishments (these are from Webster's Pages.)

The Sparrow Card by Betsy Veldman, p. 31

Moxie Fab Alert: Betsy took this trend to new heights by expertly stamping with an actual feather! Get outta town!

Sending Happiness Card by Kim Kesti, p. 30

Moxie Fab Alert: In this bold and bright card, Kim chose to focus on the arrow adaptation of this trend as we discussed above. And the sentiment? Just think of all the clever possibilities when you consider the movement of arrows, flight, and the light, "uplifting" nature of feathers in general.

• Create a paper crafted project (card, gift bag, tag, layout, home decor item, mini-book cover,etc.) that incorporates feathers and/or archery arrows in an innovative way.
