The Championing Award Medallions Challenge Winners!

At long last, it's time to announce the winners of the Championing Award Medallions challenge. The narrowing-down process was agonizing, as per usual, but I'm absolutely ecstatic about the results. Let's get right to it, shall we? Check it:

Bright Medallion Birthday Card by JJ Bolton

Moxie Fab Alert: Bright and fun, the layered medallions with their zig-zagged edges just pop with delight right off the card, dontchatink?

Congratulations Medallion Card by Jen Rzasa

Moxie Fab Alert:  Not only is this a moxie fabulously trendy card because it incorporates a true award medallion, but I just love the fact that Jen has created her medallion out of another trendy element, maps! The block number background along with the simple font treatment make this a versatile card--one that could be given to a male or a female. Very cool!

Make the Season Bright Card by JJ Bolton

Moxie Fab Alert: When you're hot, you're hot! I think this is the first time in Moxie Fab World history that I have selected two challenge-winning cards from the same designer, but I feel that each one of JJ's cards is moxie fabulous in its own right. Plus, I do my own form of blind judging. When I selected these two cards as winning entries, I had no idea that they came from the same designer. And besides, I simply can't get over the gorgeous factor in this card. The opulent three-dimensional flower-shaped medallion incorporated into the larger medallion all on black? Get OUT!

Let it Snow Card by Karolyn Loncon

Moxie Fab Alert: The minute I saw this card, a smile flew up to my lips and stayed there for a really long time. I love the clever use of a floral medallion (or rosette) as applied to a snowman image, but what really gets me is the whimsical theme that is carried throughout the card. The light-colored polka dot background that is reminiscent of snow, the sweet little hat and face on the snowman, and the piece de resistance--the swirly font in the sentiment. Kudos to you Karolyn for rocking the style in this sweet, sweet card!

Happy Holidays Card by Susan B.

Moxie Fab Alert: Oh my but this card is scrumptious. From its folk overtones including a white-on-brown background to the green pop to the lovely patterned paper medallion to its shimmery center to its delightful sentiment, this card is simply moxie to the fab!

And there you have it, friends, the winning entries to our fun challenge. I know it's a busy time of year, so I want to offer a special thanks to those of you who made time to join in on all the fun!

Winners, please send me your addresses in an email to cedvalson@papercraftsmag.com with "Award Medallions Challenge Winner" in the subject line and I'll hook you up with a moxie fab prize as well as your "I'm Moxie Fab" challenge winner badges for your blogs.

I'm all medallioned out,

~Cath

PS Can you believe it? There are still 8--count 'em--8 challenges to enter between now and December 19! Simply move your eyes over to the right-hand sidebar of this blog and get inspired to create!
