The In My Beautiful Balloon Challenge Winners!

In a sky full of participants, there could only be five.

Thanks to everyone who launched themselves into our In My Beautiful Balloon challenge. And while many took flight, here are the five who absolutely soared. Check it:

Birthday Balloon Card by Wendy F

Moxie Fab Alert: I love this card for its brilliant simplicity. A very simple--and quite lovely--color palette, with just the one touch of pink to emphasize the focal point of the card, the balloon. A simple sentiment that matches the style of the card perfectly. Wendy has divided the card into threes--a simple design principle that is appealing to the human eye. I also love the way she's added dimension to the card with the card's shape, the embossing on the bottom outside layer, the wood grain behind the middle section of the card (which helps draw our eye to the focal point), and the stitching. All in all, this is one perfectly executed moxie fab card, friends!

Thanks for the Lift Card by Karolyn at Paper Therapy

Moxie Fab World: I had a strong emotional reaction to this card when I first saw it because all the design elements in the card accentuate the sentiment. We see the city's skyline in the clouds and the balloon lifting high above that into the brilliant rays of sunshine. Thank you for the lift, Karolyn. Thank you!

Fly Away with Me Card by Karin (Peppermint Patty)

Moxie Fab Alert: What a sweet little three-dimensional scene Karin has created. Delightfully moxie fab!

Birthday Wishes Card by Jessica Rosario

Moxie Fab Alert: Here is a perfect example of using hot-air balloons in an innovative way. Jessica has taken the balloons and used them as the petals of a flower. Put them all together and what do you get? A moxie fab card in a perfectly delicious color scheme! Go Jessica!

Rise Above it All Card by Natalie

Moxie Fab Alert: Cute and fun, this sweetie interpretation makes me smile but big and wide.

Aren't these fun cards? Be sure and leave a comment that says what you like about these cards and why! I know these ladies would just love to hear from you today!

Winners, please send me an email with your addresses to cedvalson@papercraftsmag.com and I'll set you up with your "I'm Moxie Fab" challenge winner buttons as well as a moxie fab prize!

Floating on inspiration,

~Cath

PS Tomorrow is the last day to enter our SIX challenges in celebration of 350 Cards & Gifts Week. Psst...Since it's a random drawing, and two winners will be selected in each challenge, you would do well to enter the categories that currently have the fewest links. No matter what your strategy, it's the easiest way to enter a challenge here in the Moxie Fab World and win, so I hope to see you there!

I am always so intrigued with how people take it to the next level. Balloons into flowers. Who would have thought?
