350 Cards & Gifts Week: The Gift Card Holder Challenge

It's Day 2 of our moxie fab 350 Cards & Gifts Week, friends, and I'm super excited to introduce our next challenge: gift card holders.

Being the ultra generous and oh-so-giving paper crafters that we are, we recognize that while gift cards are convenient for us and fun for the recipient, they aren't quite as personal as other gifts. Our solution? Create a hand-crafted gift card holder such as these yummies from the magazine itself:

Little Owl Gift Card Holder by Sarah Jay, p. 47

Moxie Fab Alert: What a cute and trendy way to house a gift card for a new mama. Open the flap and discover a a gifty treasure tucked away inside!

For You Gift Card Holder by Windy Robinson, p. 41

Moxie Fab Alert: Perfect for a bride and groom, a mom, or a girlfriend whose style is on the elegant side, this gorgeous gift card holder makes it personal--and pretty--without a great deal of effort.

Thanks Sew Much Gift Card Holder by Jessica Witty, p. 60

Moxie Fab Alert: Oh my cuteness! Lookadis trendy, sweet, and fun way to enclose a gift card! Mucho moxie fabuloso!

Whaddayatink? Are you ready to make a gift card holder for someone you care about? Or maybe you want to make a bunch to have on hand? Today's challenge will give you the impetus to do just that!

And remember, as I mentioned in yesterday's post announcing the Card Sets Challenge, the winners for the challenges this week will be *RANDOM,* so the more you enter, the better your chances of winning!

If you are game, here are the details you'll need to have a random chance at winning this moxie fab issue!
  • Create a paper crafted gift card holder to give to someone dear.
  • Upload it to your blog, click on the title of that post, copy the URL, and add it to Mr. Linky below.
  • Tell your readers that you've created your project for the Card Sets Challenge in the Moxie Fab World and link it back to this post to encourage your readers to play along as well.
  • If you don't have a blog, upload your project to this flickr gallery, copy the URL to your project, and add it to Mr. Linky below.
  • Upload your projects by midnight EST on Thursday, April 21.
  • Two random winning projects will be linked on this blog on Wednesday, April 27 and will receive a copy of 350 Cards & Gifts.
Sound like fun? I can't WAIT to see your gifty gift card holders in celebration of this uberly inspirational issue!

Making it personal,

~Cath

This was just what I needed to inspire me not to just stick a gift card inside my SIL's birthday card, where it will just fall in her lap when she opens it! LOL! I'll definitely be doing this again!
