The Cityscapes Are on the Rise Challenge Winners!

We've set our sights high on this one, friends! Though we had a relatively low turn-out, the quality of projects entered in our Cityscapes Are on the Rise challenge was astounding. It was sheer agony deciding who the final winners would be. Thanks to everyone who "rose" to the challenge!

Here are the five winners. May I have a drum roll, please?

Thank you.

The Road of Life Card by Jill Grace

Moxie Fab Alert: How fun is this card? I love the bright, simple color palette, and I just love how free-form it is. Jill has simply taken washi tape in different colors and patterns, and then added her own details on the buildings. Easy peasy and so, well, moxie fab!

 Dream Card by Jingle

Moxie Fab Alert: First of all, I love the black/white/gray color palette that Jennifer has used. It's so chic in its simplicity. Second of all, I love the way she's layered the images so that the city she's created looks vast and deep. Third of all, the "typed" sentiment at the top--it's a perfect match for the style of the card. And fourth of all, the star. It is, in a word, the piece de resistance, and it completely "makes" the card.

Home Sweet Home Magnet by Angelica Carballo

Moxie Fab Alert: How's this for some moxie fab hand-drawn fun?  The best part? That cutie little house in the middle of all those buildings. Isn't it sa-weet? This sure would brighten up my fridge, and I love how long it is--to hold down bigger items or lists. Moxie love!

Thinking of You Card by Cristina

Moxie Fab Alert: One of the coolest aspects to call out about cityscapes is their depth. Here, Cristina has captured that by layering faded buildings in the back of more saturated buildings in the front. It's a great effect, but what sends the card to the upper reaches of moxie fabulousness is the sentiment paired with the yellow window. Tugs at your heart strings a bit, now doesn't it?

A City of Smiles Card by Shazi

Moxie Fab Alert: And last but certainly not least, this inventive card. Shazi didn't have any cityscape product to use, so she simply stamped some coordinating sentiments, drew buildings around them free-hand, cut them out, and voila! An inspiring card that implies that there is a city full of good wishes just waiting for the card's recipient.

Aren't those cards fun, friends? Congratulations to all these winners, and thanks again to everyone who gave this challenge a try!

Winners, please send me your addresses in an email to cedvalson@papercraftsmag.com with "Cityscapes Challenge Winner" in the subject line and I'll set you up with your "I'm Moxie Fab" challenge winning buttons as well as a truly moxie fab prize.

I'm feeling generous this morning, so why don't we leave these ladies some love by midnight EDT on Sunday, April 3 saying what you like about their projects and why, and I'll draw one random lucky to receive something yummy from my moxie magical prize drawer!

Saying "so long" to the city,

~Cath

PS Be sure and stay tuned tomorrow. I'll be announcing our next Moxie Fab World Challenge in which we'll still have our heads in the clouds!
