Project Inspired By: Tiffany Johnson

It's all about the inspiration, right? See how Tiffany Johnson was inspired by Mariana Grigsby in Paper Crafts magazine's most recent special issue, Stamp It! Techniques.

Here's Mariana's card:

Floatie Fun by Mariana Grigsby, p. 29

...and here's how Tiffany was inspired:

I love Mariana's playfully graphic take on a nostalgic pastime of all kids--doodling on your notebook paper. Remember "2 good + 2 be = 4 gotten"?

I stayed true to Mariana's layout and switched up the images to create a different feel, something more vintage.

I used some hot-off-the-press Hambly Screen Prints rub-ons (Family Portraits), a sheet of BasicGrey's 6x6 manila papers, a rented stamp set from Raisin Boat (Alpha Bold), two must-have retired punches from Stampin' Up! (Round Tab & Spiral Notebook), my Tim Holtz Tiny Attacher, a red Copic marker, red Memento ink, and an old sheet of October Afternoon patterned paper (Road Trip).

Now that's some serious inspiration, friends!

Thanks, Tiffany! Thanks, Mariana! Good stuff!
