The Appearance of Cameos Challenge Winners

Ooh la la but all y'all had me drooling as I looked through the Appearance of Cameos challenge entries. Thanks to everyone who gave it a try. It was such fun looking at such gorgeous (and some fun!) projects right as Valentine's Day was approaching. It certainly got me in the sweetheart spirit, that's for sure.

And now, without further ado, may I have a drum roll, please?

Inspire Card by Angie Tieman

Moxie Fab Alert: Oh my gorgeousness! I love that Angie has done this card up in pure black and white which is a completely different take on the way that Ashley Cannon Newell approached the same stamp in a project for the issue on page XX. I also adore the rhinestone crown that she's placed atop this elegant cameo's head. Inspiring, indeed!

You're Amazing Card by Chupa

Moxie Fab Alert: Not only has Chupa selected a moxie fab cameo to use in this project, but I am absolutely blown away by the stunning color combination she's chosen. Moxie fabulicious!

Wonder Tag by yyam

Moxie Fab Alert: I love the "edge" this very well-done tag gives the traditional cameo. It looks aged yet funky, neutral yet colorful, and the sentiment really makes me think. Bravo, Yvonne, bravo!

Wishing You Peace Card by Cindy Holshouser

Moxie Fab Alert: This is a very traditional application of a cameo. The elegantly embossed background, the frame, and the cameo itself is very traditional. What sends it into moxie fab is the color combination; the very stylized, perfectly chosen font in the sentiment; and the sentiment itself which echoes back to the focal point, the girl with a bird on her shoulder. If birds don't bring one peace, I'm not sure what will.

Cameo Hello Card by Karen B.

Moxie Fab Alert: I moxie love the funk factor in this uber trendy card. Karen has arranged some fairly disjunct elements and put them together to create an eclectic mix that pushes the envelope and wins!
