The Glitter is Glam Challenge Winners

A good Wednesday morning to you, Moxie Fabbers! I'm so glad you stopped by today, because I've got some yummy challenge-winning projects to share with you. I can tell that all y'all are pretty much ga-ga over glitter, because there were a ton of fun and even more gorgeous projects submitted to our Glitter is Glam challenge over the course of the past few weeks.

I did have to narrow it down to just five, however. Congratulations to these inspiring winners who managed to use glitter in innovative ways. Check it:

On My Mind Card by Anabelle O'Malley

Moxie Fab Alert: First of all, this is a moxie gorgeous card. Second of all, Anabelle utilized glitter in an innovative way by adding Modge Podge to a doily and then covering it with glass glitter. I just love the old-fashioned glitter effect she's achieved--and when paired with all that tulle? Tres moxie fab!

Love Grows Card by Jen Shears

Moxie Fab Alert: By contrast, I love the subtle adaptations of glitter on Jen's card. There's something wonderful about pairing glitter with kraft, and the combination of the focal point red glittered heart echoed by the center glittered heart in the "love" aspect of the sentiment is sophisticated and sweet. And then, Jen put the proverbial icing on the cake by adding just the right amount of glitter to the roof. Simply moxie fab!

Frosty Winter Wreath by Heather Maria

Moxie Fab Alert: Oh my gorgeous! This is so pretty, from the color scheme to the perfectly placed glitter effects to the poetic addition of butterflies to the delightful snowflake centers. For me, this project touches on the artfully imaginative in an extraordinarily striking way.

Wishing You Sunshine Card by Aga

Moxie Fab Alert: What a super fun use of glitter! I love the way Aga has called out an element of this moxie fab geometric design by adding glitter monochromatically (is that a word?) The addition of trendy elements such as baker's twine, a scalloped border punch, and a touch of kraft all in a hot color scheme add to this card's appeal. And the sentiment? Just so lovely for winter!

Sweet Glitter Wish Card by Julia Stainton

Moxie Fab World: Again, not only do we have a gorgeous card, but the effect Julia has created with her glitter treatment is simply moxie fab! Julia covered a piece of patterned paper with a double-sided dry adhesive sheet, sprinkled on a transparent glitter and then burnished. The effect is so vintage, so chic, so, well, moxie fab!

Aren't these projects just amazing, friends? Make sure you leave some love for these talented ladies in the comments section today!

I'd like to thank everyone who gave this challenge a try. If you haven't had a chance to go through all the projects that were submitted, I highly recommend a look-see. It would be a splendid way to spend a quiet, wintry afternoon!

Winners, please send me your addresses in an email to cedvalson@papercraftsmag.com with "Glitter is Glam Challenge Winner" in the subject line and I'll send you a moxie fab prize as well as an "I'm Moxie Fab" challenge winner button. I can't WAIT to hear from you!

In the meantime, I'll be announcing the next Moxie Fab World challenge tomorrow--and trust me, you are going to LOVE it!

All glammed out,

~Cath

PS This is the first of three posts today. Tune in for more moxie fab inspiration at 12:00 PM and 6:00 PM EST!
