On the precipice of 2011, my husband and I are still waiting to get into our new home, and we are facing our first Christmas without our daughters. There are much, much worse things in the world, but I'm not gonna lie, I've been more than a little homesick. As I was preparing for this post today, I decided that instead of dwelling on what is missing from my life, I needed to start looking ahead to what 2011 might bring.

I'm looking forward to 2011 with time for my crafting, using my ever-growing stash!!!
Awww, I'll be very happy to hear that you are settled in and things are settling down. It's hard to do day-to-day when things are so muddled up. So I will be looking forward to that news. I'll also be looking forward to more of your really cool posts and "enabling". LOL!
Have a great holiday!
My husband is facing another operation/treatment for cancer, this time they found a tumor in a vertebrae. Although it's going to be another tough time for all of us we try to stay optimistic. We're planning to visit Tuscon in May, so that's something to look forward to.
Have a Merry Christmas.
Eveline.
Love all the calendars. I made calendars for Christmas gifts this year. I hope that 2011 will be a prosperous year for us. This year has been tough financially when I lost my job. Merry Christmas.
I really love that letterpress wall calendar!!
Love the pocket planner journal.
Wishing you a wonderful Christmas.
I love that big fat wall calendar!!
I'm sorry to hear that you aren't in your home yet. :( Hotel livin' ain't all it's cracked up to be.
Merry Christmas!
I'm looking forward to gaining strength back in my arms so I can start crafting again.
First & foremost Merry Christmas Cath! Big Hugs and blessing in the New Year. As for what I am looking forward to in 2011 well just enjoying all the events that are to come w/my children Starting w/my little girl turning 4 on the 3rd and 1st Communions, school Baseball and other fun things. Counting my blessing as this wonderful year comes to a close and another one is to begin.
That daily dot planner is awesome! I'm looking forward to trying to spend some time get to the gym and scrapping while DS is at preschool. It's going to be a big year of change. Like you, we just moved, the first of Nov, to a new state so there's lots of possibility for the future and there's been a lot of change this year.
wishing the new year and your new home brings you comfort, cath. just wanted to thank you for another year of great beauty and inspiration-have a merry christmas:)
I like the chalkboard circles calendar. That looks like fun. Thanks for a chance to win.
all calenders are awesome, but i love the 2011 Printable Calendar - Mid-Century Chairs from bluetricycle the most!!! :) life in 2010 was a roller coaster ride. I hope 2011 will be a prosperity year for everyone~
Oh I love that wall sticky calendar. Just would look so cool on my kitchen wall! What am I looking forward to? Hmmm...well hopefully some calmer calendars...lol
Hey, Cath, you aren't alone in thinking that 2010 was a roller coaster year. So many folks I know have been on the same ride, but with lots more downs than ups. A sign of the times, perhaps. As for me, I'm looking forward to a fresh beginning in 2011, getting out from under from oppressive projects and taking some time to focus on things that make me happy, 'cuz more happy is always a better than good thing.
Moving to a new location can be so stressful. May your Christmas be a happy and blessed time, even though it will be different! I look forward to meeting a brand new grandaughter in April, 2011.
2011 will be a busy year .... my middle guy graduates, my oldest guy starts his last year in college .... I am looking for plenty of family loving!
Merry Christmas!
Sandra ltb
2010 has been a good year; looking forward to more camping time in 2011 though!
I love the mini calendar by graphic rain...there's just something about those banners!
i love the chalkboard dot calendar just because it's so different! i can't say i've seen anything just like that before- love the creativity!
Merry Christmas!!
I am looking forward to 2011. I hope to be able to work on more Publication calls!
I am moving my Craft Room to the main floor in 2011 and am so excited about it. We moved 6 years ago (we used to move a lot - 5 times in 6 years once) and it was the hardest move we ever made. After 2-3 years I felt the blessings of this move and we are so happy we did. Give it time. As we get older it seems change is harder on us.
I'm looking for to more great posts from Moxie Fab and more crafting time. My favorite calendar is the Daily Dot wall calendar. Hopefully things will settle down for you some once you move in. Happy Holidays!
2010 has been a year full of doctor visits and hospital stays. 2011 looks like it will be a much healthier year for my family--we have gotten everything well. I'm hoping to have the time to organize and use my craft room.
2010 went by so fast for me...it was a good year just too fast. I hope in 2011 things slow down some so I can remember some of the details. My baby is 3 already and it seems like she was born yesterday. I love the chalk board dot calender...so cool!
I can't believe how quickly this year has gone... but I have a Project 365 album to show that it actually all did happen. It was a good year, though there were some unexpected not-so-good things about it. I learned a lot about how to trust God's timing this year. I'm looking forward to seeing what He has for me in 2011.
~natalie
p.s. I hope that you have a lovely Christmas, Cath!
With the weather being so poor in MN the past few weeks, a death in the family (miss you Grandpa), and illnesses that have delayed/cancelled our holiday plans, I just want normal for 2011...clean house, and time to do things that I normally do like scrap. I just want a little bit of control back in my life. I know it sounds whiney, but the last few weeks have been tough and I just want normal! Merry Christmas to you...enjoy the little things about the holidays and your family, because that is what I plan to do! God Bless you in the New Year!
2011 Desktop Calendar - Colorful Botanicals from gracehesterdesigns
speaks to me the most because I love flowers/trees--and the dogwood is our state tree! Ha
Anyway--2010 was too busy for our whole family. I'm hoping 2011 will slow down a bit and that we'll have room to travel! Thanks!
Happy Holidays!
I look forward to more papercrafting with inspiration from the moxie fab world! I am hoping your Christmas looks a little brighter for you and your family. Happy holidays!
It has been quite a ride for you Cath and I hope that it stabalizes soon! This year has been very successfull for me and I hope that it continues into 2011! I am truly blessed. Have a very Merry Christmas!!!
I'm going to have a bittersweet year as my daughters change schools and grow up! I love to see them grow and become the young women we have taught them to be, but it is sad to see them leave this phase of their lives.
I REALLY want that chalkboard wall calendar!...maybe I can figure out how to make it myself. :) I gotta say that 2010 has been a very tough year for my family financially, BUT we have also grown to appreciate the small things in our lives as a result of it. God has blessed us more than we can imagine. I look forward to what 2011 has in store!
I'm looking forward to making more time to appreciate life and to recognize new opportunities & challenges. Best wishes for 2011!
Praying you have a wonderful 2011. One that rewards you for all your brave decisions. I've had one of those years that has been full of wonderful and not so wonderful things. So here's to dwelling on the wonderful and looking forward to another year!
Just like you I have had a bitter sweet year but 2010 would always remain in my memories as the year I got MARRIED :D
I went through ups and downs all the year through...when getting engaged and married was an "up"...leaving my present job and undergoing a knee surgery at an age of 26 was a blow.
I hope 2011 would bring happiness and cheer and I am so looking forward to a new job and completing one year of bliss with my husband :)
Hope the new year brings happiness for you and your family as well. Good luck with the moving-in in the new home and wish you a Merry Merry Xmas.
I just retired in June so 2010 was a great year!
Looking forward to spending more time with family and friends in 2011.
I just cannot believe that 2011 is knocking on my door! I guess I will embrace it and say . . . bring it on!! Good luck to you and your husband as you get settled into your new home!!
2010 has been very busy and emotional for me. My dad has been sick since June so many days have been spent with him at doctor's offices and in the hospital. We have prayed for a miracle that he will be healed so I am looking forward to a much better time spent with my family.
A year of inspiration! We all need that don't we.
I hope that you will be able to look back and say all is good.Change is both an exciting time and a unsettling time. You are right there are worse things in the world we can be going though. We all need to keep that in mind as we live our lives.
Have a Blessed Christmas and a even more Blessed New Year.
My second daughter arrives in june 2011, so I'm looking forward to how our lives will change with another personality in our house.
I'm looking forward to more space in 2011! Our plan is to move into a bigger house and if it happens that would be AMAZING!! :)
- April W
i am looking forward to a better 2011, plan to get more scrapbooking done and get my craft room cleaned up and organized . heres to 2011
WoW! What a year Cath! For us we moved our family of five from Massachusettes to Louisiana this year, bought our first home and are still adjusting to the culture here. I want to go back home!! On a happier note my husband had been home all year this year! He will more than likely be deployed in the New Year so we will just enjoy the time we have now. I look forward to the unknown of the New year and doing my best to enjoy every day.
My favorite calendar is the Daily Dot Chalkboard wall calendar. I think that I am going to try that on a wall in my craft room. Last year I got my own craft room...how exciting that was. I have struggle with the organization so this year I hope that I find the solution that will make it work most efficiently. And I hope to submit some of my work this coming year. Happy New Year.
My 2011 has already started...... I've moved to a new, temporary job, closer to home, and I've quit smoking.
My plan is to life a relaxed, happy, and health 2011 year!!!!
2011 will be a big year for me. I will be getting married in June...which is the main big event in 2011! I plan on pushing forward and making lots of fun crafts and cards as well, I kind of let it go in 2010.
I like the seasonal eating calendar that Ana designed at Anek. Nice artwork, but really all the calenders you show are terrific. Good luck in 2011.
I'd love to say 2011 will be a boring year but with the roller coaster year with DH's health issues I am sure it will be anything but ! Thank heaven's I have a well stocked craft room I can escape into occasionally ! 2011 will see more projects from me I am sure ..... and a whole lot of camping if we are able !
Good luck on getting into your new home .... such a bittersweet time for you I am sure ! Merry Christmas !
I'm looking forward to hopefully moving into a new house in 2011. 2010 has been a wonderful year for our family and I hope it all continues in 2011! Happy Holidays!
I'm praying 2011 brings me good health, and lots of fun hours creating scrapbook pages and cards, preserving lots of memories for my family. Makes me all smiles and looking forward to each day.
I am looking forward to my son being back in the great USA. He's been in So Korea for two years & I miss him alot! Best of luck in your new home!
Honestly, I like the color block one from Paper Crafts mag the best. It seems to have more options for using it than most of the others.
2010 has also been a major roller coaster ride for me as well, and no, I'm not going into the reasons. For 2011, I wish for a better economy for this country, and for this family. And I wish for new friendships and old to continue to grow and multiply.
Merry Christmas, Cath! Sure hope you are in your new home soon! Becky G. in GA
I am looking forward to time spent with family and friends just enjoying the moment. One's possibilities are limited only by the restrictions you put on yourself...so my possibilities for 2011 are endless. 2010 has been a year of reflection, loss and renewal - just hit a little closer to home than other years. I LOVE the Daily Dot Chalkboard Wall Calendar from SimpleShapes - no idea where I would put it but I LOVE it
It was a VERY good year! Discovering the simple things in life through the eyes of my 2 year old grandson - oh the wonders he and I discovered!
Love the daily dot chalk board so much fun!!!
Happy New Year
2010 also brought challenges for our family. We had to put our beloved dog down at the end of January due to cancer. In February we got a new puppy & w/ a 7 yr old & 3 yr old it has been hectic!
I am looking forward to our move to Germany in 2011. My husband is in the Army, and will be going on to Iraq, but me and the boys will be in Germany for the year, which I am sure will be full of many challanges for me, but many joys as well....
Hi Cath,
I love the flowers on the Partysaurus calendar for myself-so cheery, and the chalkboard calendar from SimpleShapes for my son who could use something that visual.
As far as 2010 goes, I am thankful for all we have and even for those tough experiences that I know are making us stronger. It has been tough dealing with a teenager and going through menopause at the same time. NOT a great combination. But I know we will both survive.
: )
As far as 2011- I look forward to us both continuing to grow and develop into the people we are meant to be. I really want to try to get more focused on card submissions.
As for you, it is a little sad that you have left so many "comforts" in the way of changes, and all at once. But you still have so many blessings, and it sounds like life continues to hold a few surprises for you. That's a good thing. I hope you enjoy your Christmas and New Year's celebration, and remember that as long as you have your family- you have all that you need. Continued Blessings!
I know 2011 HAS to be better. January of this year I lost my job. April I lost my Mother, June I lost my cat of 20 years, September my husband had to close his business and October I lost my Dad. Can it get in worse, beside me and my husband being out of work? Do and am hoping 2011 will be much much better.
I'm so glad you're getting closer to being settled. Christmas is crazy enough -- this year must be absolutely nutso for you! Here's to a calm and peaceful 2011 for us all!
those calendars are great. I'm not really looking forward to 2011. I mean that I'm just going day by day because for me every time I start thinking positive and saying to my self "it has to get better" or "there's no place to go but up" I find myself being proved wrong and I can't take much more disappointment so I'm taking the ostrich approach and putting my head in the sand.
The calendar that appeals the most to me must be the 2011 Postcards Desk Calendar with Stand from SureAsBlue. I think it's because of that bold graphic of the fan behind the month's days =)
I am looking forward to participating in more challenges in 2011, and maybe start trying to submit some cards for publication!
All of the them are fabulous - especially the bold floral ones!
I've been out of work for almost a year so I'm looking forward to finding a fabulous new job in 2011! I rarely see my whole family due to distance and finances but we were all together for the first time in 20 years for a surprise party for my Dad's 70th birthday this year - that was one of the highlights of my 2010.
Have a great Christmas and good luck with the move!
Sounds like lots of transitions for you in the last while - but with change comes growth, so this is good, even while it's unsettling. Peace to you through this time. Love the calendar post and while I think the chalkboard one is really cool, it would never get used in this house, so I actually like the Papercrafts one - cute and practical!
hello! i just love the chalkboard wall calendar. what a clever idea. and it would be perfect in a home-office.
merry christmas!! :)
love the calendar by anek!
I'm looking forward to building our new house...and that chalk board calendar just might make it into my new studio!!! I've always liked calendars, but these were da bombs!!!! Merry Christmas :)
I am looking forward to a "less monumental" 2011. This year, my husband's grandmother turned 100, my oldest graduated from high school in June, my middle child turned 16 in July, my youngest turned 13 in October, I turned 45. A quieter 2011 would be lovely!
Cath, reading about your children being gone made me cry! I really feel for you. My kids are 9 and 14, and just "thinking" about them not being here for Christmas brings me to tears. Can't imagine what the real thing will be like! Hugs to you, and Merry Christmas :)
Love the calendar with the chalk circles on the wall, great idea that it can be erased easily!
I'm glad we never know what the future brings - I'm looking forward to whatever life brings along in 2011
I'm hoping for continued good health in 2011 and happy memory making moments with my family and friends. I LOVE all the calendars that you showcased b/c each one has a unique look to it.
I am hoping that 2011 will bring me just a touch more daily organization. I felt lost for most of 2010 - not to sound sad, more like "WTHeck do I do first?!?!" sort of feeling ;-) As for which calendar I like most?? Are you kidding?! I seriously can't pick. They are ALL fabulous! I am going to CASE an idea or two right now!!! Wait, I was supposed to be doing something other than crafting right now... what was it?? ;-)
I'm drawn to the calendars by Graphicgrain and Partysaurus but I've just renovated my daughter's bedroom and the chalkboard calendar is looking really do-able :) 2010 was a tough year with a lot of changes....I'm looking forward to 2011 and making this year as normal as possible for my kids & I.
2010 has been just a regular one for us. Lots of fun stuff like vacations, but also some rough parts when family and friends were in the hospital. Hapily they are all doing better right now. I'd like to be healthy in 2011. You know with diet and the E world, lol.
My favorite calendar is2 the 011 Postcards Desk Calendar with Stand from SureAsBlue. After 2011 is over, you could decorate the stand and use it to some off pictures :)
I love new calendars! Something about the crisp blank slate that makes me smile at all the possibilities! My big plan for 2011 is to get more organized...in all areas of my life!
I like this one with the banners - 2011 Mini Magnetic Calendar from graphicgrain
2010 was a year of ups and downs for me as well. We moved here in 2009 and had a hard time adjusting. The Moxie Fab World was one of the places that has helped me adjust! It gave me a place to belong! I even won a challenge! The highest point of the year was my 40th wedding anniversary, which I celebrated with my daughter as my husband's new job has him away this holiday season. I am looking forward to Christmas first and for 2011, a year of day by day commitment to do all I can to make the world a better place through crafting and sharing what I love to do! Merry christmas and Have a joyous New Year, Cathy and everyone at the Moxie Fab World!
I am hoping that 2011 brings a little less chaos (self inflicted) for me - I plan to get organized with many aspects of my life starting January 1. I also plan to start saying "no" when I should, rather than trying to please everyone! All these calendars are beautiful, but I am particularly drawn to the mini magnets! I plan to make a planner/birthday book/contact book in January - I am looking forward to getting things in order!
I love flowers, so my favorites are the partysaurus and albertine calendars. Thanks for the inspiration!
I love that dot chalkboard calendar! I am really looking forward to a new crafting year now that the holiday cards are done! The idea list is long...
I loooooove all these calendars! You are so awesome bringing us fabulous MOXIE FAB pics/inspiration all the time!!
I'm excited about 2011....I want to really focus on my faith. I need to step out in faith and follow His plan...and I'm excited to see where that leads me.
I am also taking time away from crafting so much. I want to continue to work in my studio--but I don't want to be obsessed with challenges/etc. I want to do it because of the reason I started crafting--it makes people feel special! I need to realign my goals and stay focused.
2011--It's going to be great;)
2010 has been a good year. The biggest change was my oldest child graduated from high school and moved away to college in the fall. Luckily she's not far and comes home a lot on the weekends!
Oh, 2010 has been a good year. My son just graduated from college and my daughter just got engaged. 2011 will be a very busy year with wedding planning and making things for the wedding. I am so grateful for everyday I have with my children and my husband. Time goes by quickly and a calendar is just a daily reminder of our time spent with family and friends. I like the Tangle-A-Day Zentangle Desk Calendar. Have a Merry Christmas, even if your loved ones aren't with you. Make a new tradition with your husband this year and hopefully this tradition will only be this year!!!! Next year maybe you all can be together.
My mother's heart feels for you, Cath. I know the day comes when you won't spend Christmas w/your kids, but you hope to put it off for as long as possible.
2010 was a good year, but I didn't accomplish the goals I had set out. I'm keeping the same ones for 2011. We hope to make a trip to the UK (for a belated 30th anniversary trip) in September to sight-see & visit friends.
What a great variety of calendars out there.
2010 was good to me even though it was the year that my parents moved away to be closer to the majority of our family. I'm eager to see what 2011 has in store for me.
I love the chalkboard calendar!
2010 has NOT been the best year and I am looking forward to 2011to bring some forgiveness, happiness and joy!
Lisa arana
I love the bold prints of the floral desk calendar.
Dear Cath, wow! Well, I'm only a year or so away from missing my boys. My oldest will be in Germany next Christmas (he leaves in May to study there) and we may have to go and see him! I'm not sure how I will handle this change in life. I moved to another state just after 9/11..and I have stories!..so consider all the stories you will have to share..it is an adventure in the making! :) Merry Christmas!
This year has been a wild ride of ups and downs. But 2011 will bring us our daughter, sometime around January 19, and we will begin the adventure of parenthood! Can't wait! :)
Awe, Cath, you brought a tear to my eye! It's tought being unsettled, especially during the holidays and without those around you that you're used to sharing with! Take care and find your new traditions in unexpected places!
I look forward to spending more time with my grandchildren...the two youngest love to stamp and make cards, so we have a fun time with that.
Take care! Merry Christmas!
I love the daily dot chalkboard.
I can't imagine how hard its been to move from a place you knew so well for so long. I have a friend that is starting a new life in a new house this coming year. It must be tremendously challengeing but how exciting. I'm actually a little envious of her. I'm so very blessed to have a life full of family and good health. So for me more of the same please.
Here's to a great year for us all!
2011 is bringing a lot of international travel for my hubby. My wish is that I can go with him a few times!
I'm looking forward to a better year in 2011, with better health, more crafting time and more family time.
I would love to finish losing those last 15 pounds! I've lost about 30 (love my baby, don't love the baby weight, LOL!)
World Peace! Imagine the world without war. 2010 has been a happy, crafty year. I look forward to another year filled with family love, health and happiness!
Dear Cath....I know a little about where you are at. We moved to NC 13 years ago, leaving behind a home we loved and friends of more than 20 years in GA. Oh, the first 6 months were hard. But now I can honestly say that it was the best move of our lives, and I'm so glad to be where we are. Hang in there...it will get better, and will soon feel like home.
As for 2011....I'm looking forward to learning new techniques and honing my paper crafting skills. And....I made a resolution to submit something to Paper Crafts in 2011. Sweaty palms and all!
I love the pocket planner the most...great colors and I could easily put it in my purse ( I need to write it down rather than store it electronically).
I am looking forward to nurturing some new friendships and spending more time reading the Bible and praying...cause prayer does change things!
Looking forward to a fresh start in 2011. 2010 was a terrible year for our famiy, two unexpected deaths of my husband's siblings and some other family issues have made this year one I would like to forget. Gonna hunker down a scrap some happy family photos and try to focus on the positive.

This has been a stressful year and I'm looking forward to a fresh start and renewed excitement for 2011! Good luck with your move, Cath!
I have promised myself that I'm going to do more cardmaking this next year. I have so many supplies to make some really neat cards. I now have somewhere to sell my cards also. The ladies at my work want me to make some and sell them. The calendars are all cool. I'm going to have to make a couple of them.
In 2011, I will continue to work on the "bucket list"--places to see, people to meet, projects to make, things to inspired by/from, doing challengs that I enjoy (not because I want to win--OK,I lied, that will be nice still). Thanks for the inspiration throughout the year. Cath, I hope your family will be on smooth path in 2011. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all!
In 2011 I am gaining a daughter-in-law! I am looking forward to a beautiful May wedding.
Love the mini magnetic calendar!
Hoping to find more time to journal in 2011 :)
2010 was a bit of a challenge, due to a nasty health diagnosis. I'm hoping for some improvement in 2011 and with that, more peace and energy to do the things I love!
I know that you will soon feel settled and part of a big new adventure. Love the calendars, especially the big wall one. Hopeing the new year will bring me and my hubby continued happiness and good health as we somehow continue to age.
2010 was full of surprises, not the least of which was my breast cancer diagnosis. 2011 brings radiation treatments and Herceptin every third week for months and months, but the end of all that is in sight as well. I'm looking forward to my hair growing back and energy to craft again by the middle of March! Anne, yourmainestamper
I'm looking forward to going to Disney in the new year, not til the fall but still excited about it. This year was mostly boring but very few bad times. Considering I have serious health problems, a boring year is a good one! I did go to CHA but in the process I lost someone who I thought was a friend so the memory is bittersweet. I love the chalkboard calendar. If I had one of those, I might actually remember challenges and magazine calls!
2010 was filled with hospital stays, many doctors visits, and chemo to treat my son's brain cancer. It has not been a good year in that way, but I have gotten closer to some people I never would have expected. I'm hoping that the next year brings wonderful news and happyness as we continue on our long journey.
Wishing you a New beginning in 2011, Cath. I believe all of the 'hurdles' of last year are just making us stronger.
I am praying for good health (and maybe one miracle)for my family and friends in the new year and feel Blessed for all He has given us. Thank you for the FABULOUSNESS and beautiful inspiration in 2010 ~ have a Merry Christmas!
2011 is a time of exciting changes for us! We are venturing into the world of Homeschooling in Fall 2011 with my son and getting ready for THAT will take up most of the year! We also are going to start trying for baby #3 in the spring. Just those two things alone make it an exciting year!
2010 has been a wonderful year for me...mostly because our littlest and MUCH prayed for son was born in August! He just made our year wonderful!
As for the calendars...I totally dig the black circle chalkboard one! Now that would be so cool to have in my office!
Looking forward to another awesome year with lots of moxie!
2011 Wall Calendar from Leah Giberson is my favorite image. 2010 has been a rough year. I have ventured within and worked on some of my weaker traits, and I have found strength in my family. This calendar reminds me of the family trip my aunt wanted to take with her family. She has told me to stress a lot less, and live a lot more. I want to make her proud, and will take her gracious words to me into 2011.
Merry Christmas,

hmmm...good question...am looking forward to concentrating more on my writing and on publicizing my book--Military Life: Stories and Poems for Children. (I'm one of several contributors :)
And here I am, publicizing!http://www.elvaresa.com/
Love the Daily Dot Chalkboard calendar!
I hope 2011 is a good one for you, Cath, more like a relaxing boat ride than a roller coaster!
I know 2011 will be another busy one for my family. I only hope that we can take time every so often to enjoy each other and appreciate our blessings.
I'm not quite taking the jump like you are but we are putting our house up for sale in January, then we will be moving. We live in the country, very rural and we are moving to the city. This is a very big change for us but it is much needed and we are very excited yet nervous at the same time.
I love the mini magnetic calendar. It is simple and can go on the fridge where I can see it easily.
I love the pocket planner from camillebellet. I'm looking forward to 2011 as hopefully being a healthier year for me. I really want to get more crafting completed!
2010 has been a year of many changes for us as well. Last year, we were unemployed during the holidays and getting increasingly worried. By March, my husband had found a great job, but one that requires a 4 hour daily commute. We're so thankful for the income, but it was quite an adjustment to go from having him home 24/7 to gone so much. I'm anxious to see what 2011 brings for us. Merry Christmas!
I'm looking forward to continuing watching my daughter grow. She will turn 4 in the last part of the year and it's amazing to see all of the things she learns and to share in the magical moments of childhood with her!
2010 has been a hard year for me. My husband left me for another woman, I had to move into my ex-in laws sun room of their house. ( yes, you read that right , I've been living with HIS parents for the past year ) I am currently in the process of moving in with my brother and his wife and having to look for a new job in an economy that stinks. The only thing I have going for me in my life these days is making cards and hoping they get accepted for publication. Whenever they do, it's the highlight of my day!Trying to be "glass have full" person, but...::sigh::
I like the mini magnet calender--love the banner and the glass marble magnets.
I am hoping for a much better year. 2010 has been a huge challenge for me, and I look forward to 2011 with its fresh start. May we all find peace and happiness and good health in the new year.

I've had a challenging year at work and home, and I haven't always reacted in a good way. So I want 2011 to be different. I want to put into practice some of my good intentions and become more content with what I have :)
I am looking forward to meeting my new great niece or nephew in May! And of course more opportunities to make cards. :D
I am looking forward to another semester of university. I went back in September after a 20 year hiatus. It has been the most amazing experience!
I an looking forward to mu first anniversary of my new businesses.
OOooh, so many beautiful calendars to choose from! And I just bought myself one!! Lucky it's gorgeous too!
I like that letterpress calendar the best. 2010 has been a busy but good year, not sure what 2011 will hold. Have a lovely Christmas from sunny Australia.
i spent 2010 at home with my baby girl...and i'm looking forward to more time together in 2011!
Just one BIG thing I am waiting- my first grandson is going to be born in about 10 days mostly- everthing else is not rellevant .. And a bit of better health for the old generation in a family too..
The holidays are a very difficult time when your life is in transition! My first Thanksgiving in New England 2 years ago was very hard and made me miss my family in the Midwest all the more. But each year gets easier as we make friends and put down roots, and I wish the same for you in the coming year!
This year has been very difficult for us with my husband losing his job and us having to move 2 times because of it. I am looking forward to 2011 as a new beginning, a fresh start and endless possibilities. A year of crafting not only to have the enjoyment of making things, but to bring love and joy to those who receive them. I love all of the calendars, but my two favorite are the Pocket Planner Journal and the Shakespeare Gift Set. Merry Christmas!
I Love The Daily Dots Wall Calendar!! Life is a blank for us to fill every day. I look forward to finding new and creative ways to express myself.
I love the little pocket planner journal. Looks like something I would carry in my purse!
I'm looking forward to some quiet scrapbooking time after the holidays! That seems the best time of year for me to get crafty!
2010 had its challenges, but I think 2011 will be great. I love the chalkboard dot calendar!
I am looking forward to renewal and new chances. Hoping my hubby gets a job in early 2011 so we can get on our feet!
Merry Christmas, Cath!! I look forward to reading your posts every single day! I'm hoping 2011 brings me more craft time :)
I love the chalkboard circles wall calendar!!
I am looking forward to a more organized and less chaotic 2011. 2010 was a difficult one, and I am ready for the new year.
I'm hoping 2011 brings some down time and extra time for scrapping. I would love that!!
My hopes for the New Year have to do with my two passions. Crafting, I want to get my craft room organized so I can spend more time creating than rather than hunting for items I need. Gardening, I now have 25 raised boxes, and to help with the local Sharing Center I will Plant a Row/Boxes for the Hungry.
Daily Dot Chalkboard Wall Calendar from SimpleShapes- for sure!!! :)
Good luck with the move!
I'd say it is a tie between the Shakespeare calendar and the zentangles one. Love them both.
I"m hopeful for a better year in 2011. Thankful to be a Breast Cancer survivor. My husband & i are started new careers after 28 years in other jobs. has been slow going... looking ahead.
