I adore all things flamboyant, and what’s more flamboyant than feathers? Posh plumage adds softness and style and simply shouts, “Look at me!”

On a recent shopping spree I found feathers abounding, especially in jewelry at one of my favorite trendy spots, Bebe. And this fabulous peacock was designed to sit atop one of the White House Christmas trees this December. If you happened to catch the 2010 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show you might have seen this beauty.

Yes, feathers are so very IT right now!

We’ve come a long way from this crazy dress worn by Bjork on the red carpet of the 2001 Academy Awards (thank goodness – but you’ve got to admit – that’s uber flamboyant)!
