Hey all you Moxie Fabbers! Are you ready for the second of our four challenges celebrating Holiday Cards & More Week here in the Moxie Fab World? I'm super excited to get this one going, so let's not dally, Sally!Paper crafted gifts are super duper special, IMHO. Cards are lovely, gift wrap is festive, and home decor lasts through the ages, but a paper crafted gift is one of those special indulgences that can be truly customized to your recipient. As you'll see in the Season's Giftings section of Holiday Cards & More beginning on page 100, whether it's a mini-album cover, a gift card holder, a card set, a recipe book, a homemade calendar, or a sweet treat container, paper crafted gifts add a personalized touch that thrills from the nose to the toes. I've selected some of my favies from the issue in the hopes that they will inspire your own creativity. Check it:
From Our House to Yours Gift Set by Betsy Veldman, p. 112Moxie Fab Alert: This gorgeous towel and spoon set has had me giddy since the first time I laid eyes upon it in our submissions judging. The towel is expertly stamped, the spoon is as well, and I love how Betsy has coordinated it all with the wrap and tag that ties it all together. This is some serious moxie fabulousness, fo sho!
Family Favorites Recipe Book by Kim Kesti, p. 109Moxie Fab Alert: How cutie is this? Trendy cutlery on a plate in a dinnertime color scheme all tied up with gingham? What a thoughtful gift for a daughter or son who has left the nest, a new sister-in-law, or as a legacy to family members near and far.
Holiday Mix CD Holder by Erin Lincoln, p. 102Moxie Fab Alert: So retro-trendy, I moxie love the buttons used as music notes in this fun CD holder. Now this would be a perfect neighbor gift that won't put on the pounds, and will last from year to year!
Christmas Tree Mini Album by Tanisha Long, p. 101Moxie Fab Alert: Do you have a friend or family member who loves to preserve her memories but is currently stretched for time? Why not surprise her with this this moxie fab shabby-edgy mini album? And if shabby-edgy isn't her style, the layered album is supah easy to customize.
Ceramic Tile Coaster Set by Ivanka Lentle, p. 108Moxie Fab Alert: The versatility of stamps shines through in these amazing coasters. Simple, well-executed, and sweet as pie, this is a gift that will wow and impress in relatively no time at all!
Can you think of some innovative paper crafted gifts for your friends and family? Imagine all the possibilities! And if you're feeling like you could use a bit more inspiration, you can find a bunch more ideas on pages 100-118 of the issue. When you're ready, load up your projects for this challenge following these funtastic deets:
