Holiday Cards & More Week: The All Wrapped Up Challenge!

As promised in last Friday's post, Holiday Cards & More Week is here--and in the Moxie Fab World we're celebrating Big Time with four days of cheerful challenges!

That's right, Holiday Cards & More, your quintessential source for all things holiday, is broken up into four separate categories and we're going to tackle each one beginning today with the All Wrapped Up section. That means anything you could paper craft to wrap up your gifts in your personal handmade style including gift bags, boxes, and tags. Here are some inspirings from the issue itself. Check it:

Joyful Yuletide Gift Bag by Michele Boyer, p. 94

Moxie Fab Alert: Who wouldn't want to receive a gift dressed up in this pretty, pearly, positively precious vintage gift bag? In fact, the bag itself is gift enough, donchatink?

Whimsical Christmas Tag by Anabelle O'Malley, p. 90

Moxie Fab Alert: This whimsical tag has me singing "Fa la la la la, la la la la!" Whoopsie! Now you're singing it, too!

Joy to the World Tag by Valerie Mangan, p. 85

Moxie Fab Alert: Trendy, trendy, trendy! Once again, we've got the mixture of silver and kraft, one of my new favie looks--especially for the holidays! I moxie love the silver cardstock Valerie has used for the bird, and the punch of green and red draws my eye right where it should--to the sentiment of the season.

Holiday Wishes Tag by Latisha Yoast, p. 83

Moxie Fab Alert: I'm not sure there will ever be a time when pink and black are not a hot combo. What I love most about this tag is its simplicity. Latisha has taken a non-traditional (for Christmas) but trendy color combination and kept the design super simple so the colors could shine, shine, shine!

Happy Holidays Treat Bag & Tag by Carolyn King, p. 86

Moxie Fab Alert: Love this colorful tree set on kraft, love the border at the bottom that grounds it (otherwise the tree might seem as though it were floating), love the font she's used for the sentiment, and I extra moxie love the fact that the focal point of the bag functions also as the tag! Get out! Oh Cammie, you're one clever girl!

What say you? Are you ready to get this challenge "all wrapped up"? How cool would it be to work up some projects that you can not only share with all of us here in the Moxie Fab World, but you could get a head start on your holiday gift wrap all in one swell foop! Here are all the details you'll need to jump in and get crafty:
  • Create a paper crafted gift bag, tag, box, gift wrap, etc. that for the holiday season.
  • Upload it to your blog, click on your blog's title, copy the URL, and add it to Mr. Linky below.
  • Tell your readers that you've created your project for the All Wrapped Up Challenge and link it back to this post to encourage your readers to play along as well.
  • If you don't have a blog, upload your project to this flickr gallery, copy the URL to your project, and add it to Mr. Linky below. Make sure you set the security on your photo so that I can copy it. If I can't copy the image, I won't be able to offer it as a winning entry.
  • Upload your projects by midnight MDT on Monday, October 11.
  • Three winning entries will be shown on this blog on Wednesday, October 13 and will receive an "I'm Moxie Fab" challenge winner button and a copy of Holiday Cards & More.
Ready? Set! Let the linking begin! I can't WAIT to see what crafty creations you come up with, my friends!

For more gift-wrappy inspiration, be sure and turn to pages 78-99! AND for more festive fun, be sure and click on over to Paper Crafts Connection to see what Kelly has planned for you today as Holiday Cards & More Week continues!

That's a wrap,

~Cath

Although I am not really in the holiday spirit, I did buy my jelly jars yesterday so that I can start making my champagne jelly in the next week or 2. Will have to work on some tags to go on the jars!!!
