The Finding Inspiration in a Layout Challenge Winners

Well I must say, many of you found a lot of inspiration in this layout created by Creating Keepsakes Dream Team member Jen Jockisch in our fun Finding Inspiration in a Layout challenge:

And while it was, as always, tough to narrow down the winners, here they are in all their moxie fab glory. Check it:

Okay Girl Card by Kathryn at KTC

Moxie Fab Alert: Kathryn was not only inspired by the color scheme, the horizontal strips, and the circles in the layout, but she was also inspired by the bead board background on which the card was shot. Not only am I amazed at the detail in this card, but I love the inside sentiment which completes the outside beginning saying, "I'm listening...dish."

Friends Card by Scrappy A (Alicia)

Moxie Fab Alert: I love Alicia's soft approach to this card, and the subtle way she's incorporated the circle, the horizontal line, and the colors. You can tell she's been inspired by the layout, but she's not hitting you over the head with it, and that's really nice.

Let's Party Card by Laura O'Donnell

Moxie Fab Alert: It's often difficult to take the sketch of a layout and adapt it to a card because a 12x12 layout has a lot more space to work with. So, it's tricky to incorporate all of the design elements into a smaller space. This, my friends, is a fantastic adaptation without seeming too busy. It's cute, fun, and it's simply moxie fab! Good for you, Laura! Good for you!

Life's Adventures Card by stampersuzz

Moxie Fab Alert: I just love the unique approach to this challenge in this inspirational card. Suzanne wanted to use the circles in the background with the rectangle as the main focal point, and she's even adapted the theme of the layout to her card's purpose. I am wild about the cityscape that she's used, but mostly I just love how she's kept many elements of the layout but completely changed up the style.

Happy Happy Birthday Card by Cindy Lee

Moxie Fab Alert: We can see where Cindy drew her inspiration from the layout, but what I love the most about this card is its balance. Everything is in its proper place. It's not too much, it's not too little, it's all, as Goldilocks might say, "just right."

Congratulations to all these winners and thanks to everyone who gave this challenge a try!

Winners, please send me an email with your addresses to cedvalson@papercraftsmag.com with "Finding Inspiration Challenge Winner" in the subject line and I'll hook you up with your "I'm Moxie Fab" challenge winner badges and a fantastic prize!

What do you love most about these projects and how they interpreted the layout? I'm sure we'd all love to hear, so leave some love for these ladies before you go! :)

Stay tuned tomorrow where I'll announce the next Moxie Fab World Challenge, and trust me, it will bring you the ultimate in peace.

So inspired,

~Cath
