In the meantime, let's get clean and graphic, shall we?
Straight from the pages of Card Style magazine itself, the clean and graphic style is characterized by the utilization of white space, clean lines, and simple treatment of text. It is no-frills, bare-boned, modern, and hip. And while you might be surprised at how minimally clean and graphic cards might be embellished, you might also be amazed at how quickly their messages are communicated.
Here are some of my favies from the issue. Check it:
Let's Hang Out Card by Kim Kesti, p. 51Moxie Fab Alert: White space? Check. Clean lines? Most definitely. Simple treatment of text? Oh yeah. No-frills, bare-boned, modern, and hip? All over it. Message communicated quickly and effectively. You know it. It's even punny.
That's an Order Card by Layle Koncar, p. 49Moxie Fab Alert: The graphic treatment of the diamonds in the background are the first clue that this card fits our criteria. The simple design and text treatments are our second clue. And the color background with black pop? Well now, that's just simply moxie fab!
Get Well Mug Card by Courtney Kelley, p. 48Moxie Fab Alert: I'm not sure it gets much more clean and graphic--or moxie fab for that matter--than this, friends. I'm just sayin'.
Great Friend Card by Heidi Van Laar, p. 68Moxie Fab Alert: The clean and graphic tricks in this card are its use of white space, color blocking, the repetition of a simple shape, and a simple use of text. Plus, it's just plain stunning, dontchatink?
Father's Day by Kimberly Crawford, p. 73Moxie Fab Alert: Simple, graphic, understated, and oh-so-appropriate for the occasion, this card had me oooh-ing and aaah-ing from the get-go. Proof that keeping it simple is often the best way to get it to go.

These are so fun... I never seem to be able to pull off the clean and graphic but will give it a shot

This pulled me out of my creative slump! I can always rely on Moxie Fab and Paper Crafts to have that influence.
I am actually 'on the road' but just had to add my card to this challenge...although, I struggle with this style, I really love what others created here.
Card week is great so far, even though I am a day behind! The designers cards are great as usual! This is not my style, but am always ready for a challenge!
I guess I'm not as "Clean & Graphic" as I thought I was...this was a toughy!

Just got the magazine for myself last night and found myself really drawn to this style.
Slowly getting through all the great styles. This is a great style and I will definitely be working with it again

clean and graphic is one of my favs! Glad I got this in on time!

I have seen great cards posted. I like a lot tha cards made with this style, but to be hones I find it extremely difficult... Love to have lots of dimension and layers on my cards!!
I think this was the most difficult challenge style for me. I had fun though!
