Tuesday Trigger: Inspiration Straight from the Pages of Stamp It! Cards

Stamp It! Cards Week continues on this happy Tuesday friends! Since we're only on Day 2 of this fun promotional week, I thought it only appropriate that we get our inspiration straight from the pages of this inspiring magazine. So, I asked super stamper and Paper Crafts Go-to Gal Kim Hughes to choose the card that inspired her the most from the magazine and use that as her Tuesday Trigger. Here's the card she chose:

Always Card by Kimberly Crawford, p. 79
Kim says:

I just love the fresh feel of Kimberly's uber trendy card! It makes me think of zesty lemons and sweet lemonade. Her elegant card takes me from the divine pearl framed sentiment, down through the delicious yellow pattern and just when you think that's enough, she completes her card with a gorgeous yellow bow! I was truly inspired by her card in so many ways.

Many Thanks Card by Kim Hughes

I decided to create a card that utilizes her design and changed it up, just a little bit. I flipped the black and kraft colors and went with a square shape. I changed the look from elegant to cute, simply by using yellow polka dot ribbon and adding a flirty felt flower under my bow. The big pearls and clean font adds to this style as well. I hope you are as inspired by her card as I am.

Cath says: Oh yeah! I'm inspired! Friends, load up your approaches to this fun Trigger by next Monday using Mr. Linky below. If you don't have a blog, upload your project to this Flickr group and that way we can all leave comments for you!

Now, I don't normally offer prizes on Tuesday Trigger days, but this is Stamp It! Cards Week after all, and frankly, I just couldn't resist. So, leave me a comment by midnight MST on Sunday, February 28 saying what you like about this week's Tuesday Trigger, what you like about Kim Hughes's card, and/or which of these moxie fab stamp sets from Gina K Designs you like best and I'll draw two random winners to win four different stamp sets each:

Thanks to everyone who gave last week's Tuesday Trigger by Becky Garrison a try! Here are the Trigger Targets: Chupa, Lisa Petrella, Laura Davis, Michelle Woerner, Kristin Tierney, and Julie HRR! Good job, ladies!

I can't WAIT to see what all y'all have got in store for the Tuesday Trigger this week, friends! And we're not tired of yellow, right? You can NEVER have too much yellow in your life (most of the walls of my house are painted yellow!)

Be sure and stop by again tomorrow! Know why? 'Cause IT'S TIME TO GET STAMPY!

...and that's all I can say at this moment in time.

Feeling all yellow and mellow inside,

~Cath

I'm a stickler for butterflies, so the Hope is Faith is one of my favorites that Gina K has come out with lately! Not to mention that a portion of that set's purchases for this month go for a fantastic cause, the Red Cross to help with Haiti!
