This week's Trigger comes to us from Regina Mangum:
Regina says:
I was looking for recipes for some good seasonal veggies to brighten up my winter table when I came across this photo of a January King Cabbage. I love the colors and I was astounded that something as ho-hum as cabbage could be so truly beautiful.

Here is the project inspired by her trigger:
With all the parties we're sure to attend in the New Year, I was inspired by the photo to create a little hostess box. To make my cabbage "blossom," I used Stampin' Up!'s Birds & Blooms and Blossom Party Sizzix dies, running through my Big Shot some faux suede card stock I made to add a bit of texture and water-colored just the tips for some depth. To frame it, I embossed the flattened box top with a Spellbinder's Nestabilities Label and threaded through some twill ribbon. The box bottom is stamped with SU!'s Medallion background stamp and the little sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes. Finally, I used Martha Stewart's Crown Border Punch to honor this most royal of winter vegetables.
And I say, I can't wait to see what all y'all do with this juicy number! Link 'em up below!
Before we move on to other business, kudos to these Trigger Targets for their moxie fab approaches to last week's Tuesday Trigger: Cathleen, Laurel S, Carolyn King, and jazzytobi. Congrats to these ladies and thanks to everyone for playing along!
