Congratulations to these Trigger Targets for their outstanding responses to Linda Beeson's trigger last week: Nancy K, Chupa, Nancy L, Laurel S, and Lisa Forsythe! Way to go ladies!
Thanks to everyone who found time to play during this busy week! Are you ready for the next? This week's trigger comes to us from Kazan Clark:
It's a summery image, for sure, but I thought that it would not only be appropriate for my friends Down Under whose winter is my summer and whose summer is my winter, but I also thought that the color scheme is completely appropriate for winter AND it gets those of us in the northern climes thinking about warmer days to come. I know, it's only the end of December, but it's been extraordinarily chilly where I live and I'm already wishing for days where I don't have to bundle up just to run out to our detached garage for another gallon of milk. ;)
Here's Kazan's amazing project based on her inspiration image:
...as in imagine yourself creating something wonderful with this inspiration! My favorite part? The way Kazan has incorporated the horizontal white wood from the photo into her card. Brilliantly moxie fab! Link up your projects below by Monday of next week--and by all means--have fun!
Now, getting back to the Countdown. We've had some fun promoting our special issues this past year, there's no doubt about that. We started in March with Stamp It! Cards Week in which we celebrated all things stampy and all y'all were given a chance to win a truly moxie fab assortment of stamping products and/or projects each day of the week.
In April we sang the praises of our special issue 225 Cards & Gifts. We had a Mother's Day challenge, you had 12 chances to win a Cricut Expression, a Your Story Binder/Laminator, and a Yudu Screen-Printing System in our Inspirational Blog Hop, and we gave away all kinds of gifty products to inspire you to give from your paper crafty heart.
In June we celebrated the release of our moxie fabbiest special issue, Card Creations, Volume 7 by talking about styles, celebrating the newly published, talking about trends, and by giving away some moxie fab products.
...and in August we introduced our Holiday Cards & More, Volume 4 issue with 5 different challenges in which I asked you to stretch your holiday style. We explored styles such as clean and graphic, classy and elegant, fun and cute, and vintage and shabby, and you even had a chance to submit your stamped holiday cards as part of the fun.
And last but not least, our World Tour of Card Making--a week-long festival leading up to the fourth annual World Card Making Day in which we traveled around the world visiting countries such as Denmark, Norway, Germany, the United Kingdom, Canada, Poland, Morocco, Japan, Singapore, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, the Phillipines, Belgium, Sweden, Croatia, and Australia.
Yes indeed, we have had a special kind of fun here in the Moxie Fab World in 2009. I'd love to know which promotional week was your favie, so click on the links to review the celebrations, and be sure and vote in the poll at the upper right-hand corner of this blog. Then, leave me a comment telling me how you voted and why by midnight MST on Sunday, January 3 and I'll draw a random winner for a prize.
What's in store for you tomorrow? Well, tomorrow I'll be counting down the top 10 winning projects in our Moxie Fab World challenges, and you'll get to vote for your favorites as well, so be sure and stop on by!
Counting it down,
~Cath
PS It's time to submit your Tuesday Triggers for the months of January and February, friends! Submit your seasonal triggers, your blurbs, and your projects based on that inspiration to me at tuesdaytrigger@gmail.com following the guidelines at the bottom of this blog post. For those of you who submitted triggers that were not used in the last call (November and December), feel free to post them on your blogs!
PPS I realize that the poll is only allowing you to vote once. That is my mistake, but I can't change it without losing all the data we've already gathered, so just vote for your favie and tomorrow I promise you'll be able to vote for more than one in our new poll! Sorry to have vexed you! :)
