I've got a quick post for you today in our

While we've explored many, many trends in the Moxie Fab World this past year, these are the ten that I have found to be the most prevalent in the wide, wide world. I have used more plum than anything else! Woodgrain is a close second.
I guess I am still catching up with the trends of the year. I love them all and find the Aprons, Gradient and Ruffles trends quite inspiring, but have incorporated the grey and yellow trend the most in my paper crafting. Looking forward to your reports and fabulous pics of all of the new trends you will highlight in the coming year. Happy, safe, healthy new year everyone!
I've been loving the ruffles and the folk art, so refreshing to see some softness making its way back into my cardmaking. I am totally looking forward to your posts in 2010... sure to be a party!
I seem to always gravitate toward plaid paper and so that would have to be my first pick and then I like the apron and the banner! Happy New Year!
I love the vintage look - fond childhood memories. :<) The colors are most often so bright and cheery.

I have to say that I have really enjoyed the trends this year! I have done several banners, I did a few apron cards, I've done plaid, woodgrain, and LOVE ruffles! I suppose ruffles wins out, but I've been doing them for years.
I voted Woodgrain, ruffles & Vintage. All of these are things I love right now. Everytime I see Woodgrain paper I buy it, no matter how many pieces I already have:)
I just love those cute aprons! The trend I have incorporated the most in my papercrafting is plum paper and accents.
I have incorporated ruffles the most, as I found using my scallop to create them quite fun.

There were so many good ones to chose from. I just love aprons, they are so lovely and kitchy and have so many great patterns. i think of early bird by cosmo cricket when I see them. I also loved the ruffles and woodgrain trends. I could have picked at least 5...because you can't forget folk art, yellow and gray. Sorry to say this, I still don't like plum on my cards.

Apparently I am not so trendy. I have incorporated only a little of the plum, folk art and wood grain. I really like that plum is trendy, purple has always been a favorite color of mine.
Vintage seems to be that lasting trend that reappears often. I love vintage items, but maybe that is because I am older and cherish the past, yet look forward to the future! Happy 2010!
I use ruffles the most weather it's using the scalloped punch or just using ribbon.The next is vintage I luv that'ol old look,then it probablywould be banner theres just so much that can be done with them. Happy New Year:)

I voted for Plum, Ruffles, & Folk Art. I don't know if I use it the MOST.. but I've had the most fun with the folk art design style. It's something that I REALLY love! And, I've surprised myself. I use to despise the color purple.. but now it's one of my favorite colors. Thanks for a great year, Cath! :)

Vintage is definitely the trend I've used the most this year. But it shouldn't just be a trend...I think vintage is the way to go in this economy/environment. Repurposing items to fit your needs is the way to go!
This year I've ventured down so many new roads with all the inspiration from this blog site. I've always been a big fan of vintage, but the ruffles and aprons - oh yea! Thanks for a wonderful year of new beginnings.

I have incorporated alot of these a little bit but I would say the most often used would be wood prints. I love the stamps that are out that help with that. Next would be vintage.
I guess I didn't know the trends for this year because I didn't do any of them. Oh well, I still had a great time scrapbooking!
i've used vintage the most with plum as the most prevalent color in it.
This one was not fair! I wanted to vote for everything. I picked Aprons as #1. I love all the great fabrics used to make aprons trendy again. 2nd was plaid. I got both girls the most adorable plaid dresses this year, and 3rd but not last ruffles. I love how ruffles can add a feminine touch to a plain T or rustic paper.
Plum, love it, and I have a stamp set, that is older cottage type houses I have used and used. I have such favorable comments about those houses, Heartwarming Vintage.
I have made a couple of banners- with big plans for more! I have incorporated more ruffles & vintage too!

Plum is yummy, and yellow & grey is great!! Definitely my favorites. I've done a little with plaid, too. :)
I love the new trends, the ones I am using the most are ruffles and woodgrain. I am also using gray a lot too, love it.
I think if there's one I've incorporated, it would be the gradient color.
Everybody love banners: they can be made by so many materials and for every occation, so they are my fav #1. I also like seeing all the woodgrain and the color combo grey - yellow. That color combo was btw a great hit in interior design in Paris ij the mid eightees *lol*
I guess I haven't been up with the trends, I use gradient color the most of all of those, have wanted to do folk art but just haven't down much with that. I guess I'm more of a "classics" kinda girl rather than a trendy one.

My votes went for folk art, ruffles and vintage. I already incorporate vintage into my card making at time, but I have really tried to increase the use of ruffles, which I really have become fond of using! Folk art - not so much yet, but I am on the look out for paper and/or stamps of that type that appeal to me.

I have used woodgrain a lot more after I purchased the HA woodgrain wood mounted stamp. I love it.
Plum is a close second since it is one of my favorite colors.

I voted for gradiant, plum, and plaid, but sadly, my cardmaking has been very unhip this year, I don't think I've actually used any of these! ;)

Ruffles!! I love ruffles.
VINTAGE, followed by Folk Art. It was hard to pick because they are pretty even. I have bought a LOT of vintage looking papers and patterned cardstock, and little doo-dads (findings?) that look great on the cards. Folk art is adorable, too. Unfortunately for my hubby, I have started to actually LIKE garden gnomes (but I haven't put any in my yard). As a joke, I bought 2 2" gnomes as a gag gift for him for Christmas. I hope that craft companies offer more folk artsy patterns on their cardstock and papers!! I HOPE THAT I WIN!
I voted vintage - the style I am the most drawn too - the nostalgia, the faded colors, the beautiful images, distressing - just love it!
The gradient colors is my top pick, still working on it with Copics. Ruffles is next for me, most often in the form of border punches. My third choice is vintage which is mostly all I actually scrap these days working on a family scrapbook. :)
It's got to be vintage! At my age (I won't tell!), I love going back to the quality of the bygone years. More vintage please!

I've done more vintage-type things this year which usually has not been my style at all.
Plum is my clear winner. I never much cared for purple until this season's rich hues of plum came out. Love it! You still won't see me cozying up to lavender though!

Ruffles were my fave trend and I experimented the most with ruffling up ribbon.
For me it was ruffles, wood grain, and the plum color . . .I can't believe that kraft paper wasn't on the TOP 10 list . . . I use that all the time now!
It's gotta be plum. It's such a warm, winter-y AND spring-y color!

This was a hard choice! I went with woodgrain, ruffles, and plum -- though I heart gnomes (hence folk art), yellow/gray, aprons...sheesh, I guess I love it all!

OMG this was almost has hard as yesterday's vote! I have to go with Folk Art though...I just LOVE making that kind of warm and heartfelt card! Plaid would be my second choice!

I stick to gradient colors alot since it is easier for me to stay in the same color family.

Vintage, Wood Grain, and ruffles. I think the folk Art would be next.Vintage can be whimsical, heartfull, and emotional stirring all one big image. A style that can timeless.
Although I am LOVING ruffles on everything as of now, it has been hard to papercraft with them...so I vote for VINTAGE being my number one trend for my papercrafts this year - there are some great resources for vintage clip art out there and also hunting for old postcards and paper goods make for wonderful project items too!

I love all the folk art and hope to use this more in the future. And even though I am not a ruffles person, I have branched out and added some frills and loved the results. But I have had the most fun adding plaid with my new Waltzingmouse plaid background stamp--just wanted to add plaid to everything!

I love to use vintage images, plum is a favorite and instead of just wood grain I like to use wood veneer on my cards and tags. I missed the apron inspo, might have to see about using this retro icon next year. Thanks for all the inspired posts this year!

Hmmm...well, I've never been one to follow trends, so I wouldn't be able to say that I've incorporated them into my paper crafting. But, I can say that I have enjoyed the vintage, ruffles, and folk art and their effects on paper crafting and style as a whole. And I definitely have enjoyed coming here for inspiration! :>

Aprons as gifts, aprons on cards, everyone loves being in the kitchen, or at least staying clean in the kitchen! Flirty or practical they are so much fun.

Plum is my favorite color so I would have to say that is the trend that I incorporated most into my crafting! I loved the gradiant color too though! Have yet to try it, want to blend glitter gradiantly :)

I'm not sure if I've used a lot of these trends yet, but I do love the look of vintage and ruffles. I just can't seem to craft vintagey for some reason.
I just love the apronjs because I think the fabrics are so colorful and fresh looking. The ruffles are so femimine and the plum is so calming of a color.

BANNERS! I drove my kids crazy this year because I made a banner set for just about every significant holiday. But they just look so pretty!
I've been loving the vintage this year - from incorporating a '50's theme into our Christmas cards (courtesy of lovely Claire at WM stamps!) and designed several custom card/tag orders around the Vintage Ornaments stamps from PTI. All of the lovely Cosmo Cricket papers, and I could go on and on and on! Lovely things!!

To be honest I haven't incorporated a lot of any of these trends in my papercrafting this year but I'm beginning to explore vintage and yellow and gray, particularly gray. Gray is my new black.
These are all such great trends! I've probably used ruffles and woodgrain the most, but I'm also a sucker for a good folkart design.
I voted for three but my hands down favorite is woodgrain...I'm borderline obsessed!
Definitely 2009 for me has been the year of the VINTAGE!
A close second would be banners and I'm just getting into the Woodgrain craze!

I'm afraid I'm not a very trendy gal. I usually stick with classic styles. But of the trends you featured last year, I probably used the wood grade and folk art most (although they didn't get used much, either.)
I've just been on a plum kick lately - guess I was trendy and didn't even know it!
My favorite trend was the woodgrain which I used quite a bit this year!

i've tinkered with a bunch of all of these, but i think i played most with COMBINING elements and patterned papers of different lines into my projects... but LOADS of ribbon and ruffles have made appearances, too. :)

I've just started trying the vintage look. It's not something I easily gravitate to, but it has been fun stepping out of my comfort zone!
Ahhh - 2009 is the year I started ruffling all my ribbon - I could no longer just put it down flat - it had to be ruffled, stitched, stapled - whatever, to give it some height.

I'd say Aprons (thanx to my Gramma, who always wore one). They were old and worn...but worn with love! Actually I love them all, it was a very good (great) year!!!

my favorite was the aprons. They are so fun and cute to wear.
This one was so hard I adored the Yellow and Grey. But I went totally outside of my "box'-I'm usually very linear and graphic- when it came to vintage. Maybe because I'm vintage now.
