What's the Tuesday Trigger all about? It's about what triggers you, inspires you, wham-pows you! It's about you sharing you and empowering the rest of us! It's about knee-knocking awesome, jaw-dropping gee-whiz, mind-blowing man-oh-man, and eye-popping pow! It's about you inspiring us and I can't wait to begin!
Here's our first Tuesday Trigger from our very own Paper Crafts Go-to Gal, Kim Kesti. The trigger? This Wedding Inspiration Board from the Style Me Pretty blog:

The result? This amazing card:

The inspiration? In Kim's own words:
This blog is such fun. The ability to create your own inspiration boards is fairly new on the site--and their readers have really taken off with it. I love that it's so interactive. I also love the idea of a "mid century modern" wedding (hey - I can dream that my kids will get married someday, right?) That's what attracted me to this Inspiration Board.
So, I took inspiration from the colors, the grid design of the Eames chair, the overall grid design of the whole board, the "sweetness" of the cake and decorations and my favorite bit - the yellow shoes.
I dug in my scrap bin and pulled patterned paper that reflected the style and colors on the Inspiration Board; I cut all the paper into 1" squares. I designed that card in a grid, punched a circle of American Crafts patterned paper and added a Flair button. Simple (and sweet).
The fun?
- Leave Kim a comment here telling her what you like about her project.
- Create a project of your own based on Kim's trigger and link it below using Mr. Linky!
- Visit all the linked blogs, leave comments, and see how all the other Moxie Fabbers approach Kim's trigger!
- Submit your own triggers to this email account: tuesdaytrigger@gmail.com
- Provide me with your image of inspiration, an image of the project that you created based on your trigger, and a brief explanation of how/why you were inspired.
- Trigger images can be anything you find to be inspiring, but must be credited properly with appropriate URLs. If a site asks you to get permission beforehand, please do so.
- Take a sharp photo of your project that is minimally propped (or not propped at all) with no distracting backgrounds. Provide no more than 1-2 detail shots (which may or may not be used.)
I will select Tuesday Triggers based on quality, seasonality, and inspirability. You may submit as many Tuesday Triggers to the email account as you'd like. The current Tuesday Trigger call will last through the end of December.
Who will provide us with next week's Tuesday Trigger? It could be YOU! I'll be checking my email at tuesdaytrigger@gmail.com!
In the meantime, I can't wait to see what all y'all come up with for Kim's Tuesday Trigger beginning now!
Let the linking begin!
Giving new meaning to the phrase "trigger happy,"

Sounds fun!! Thanks for the added inspiration! Cute card too!
I LOVE this idea! I am often "triggered" creatively by something else very visual - so this is fantastic! :)
This sounds like so much fun, Cath!! Can't wait to get crafty :)
Inspiration challenges are my favorite, and I love Kim's!
Oh, you clever Cath! I LOVE the tricky title of your new feature. I was definitely triggered by the Style Me Pretty blog. Thanks for letting me play! Kimmers

Love your use of "inchies". What a "sweet" idea!
I love Kim's trigger and card. That trigger doesn't really wham-pow me though. Everyone has their own triggers. I'll definately be playing along with these challenges and find a trigger of my own!
Blessings,
Christine
I love the bright colors of this card. It is so happy! What a fun project!
What fun! I really like how the card has a fun geometric look like the inspiration piece.

What a great idea with the "triggers"!
I love that Kim used yellow as a base! You don't see alot of yellow in paper crafting!
hey, what a fabulous idea! That card is amazing and totally captures the essence of that lovely 'mood board'. This is great for shaking up the old mojo! Jo x
I had a pic of my mom as a teen in a great skirt that looked tan in the photo (it was blue irl)next to her black belt, so I used a ton of tan and black with some red for brightness. fun!
Thanks so much for the great challenge! These Tuesday Triggers will provide so much inspiration. I can't wait!
