Hey friends! Having a good Monday? I sure hope so. Can you believe that September is already almost half-way over? I don't know about you, but it's been breezin' on by way, way too fast.
For September is one of my favorite months of the year. Cooler temps, golden light, and the promise of fall are a welcome relief to the heat of summer. And there's nothing quite like September mornings. They are simply and irrefutibly delicious.
Speaking of delicious, I've got a scrumptious line for today's Moxie Monday, one that fits my September mood just perfectly. The color combination is very trendy and fall-ish, though it could also make fantastic holiday projects as well (just add a splash of green!) And being the western girl that I am, I love that this line has western Victorian written all over it.
When I look at the Town Square collection from Jenni Bowlin I think of the wild, wild West. I see hotel lobby wallpaper, hard tack at the General Store, and prairie dresses and petticoats hangin' on the line. Check it:

I love this line! It reminds me of Little House on the Prairie. I always thought it would be so fun to have lived back then... Then I moved to Morocco and I've seen what it is like for farmers to live far out and have no electricity or running water. I'm SO grateful for modern technology! LOL! Hope you have a great week!

Brown & Red definitely 2 great colors togther. I love the western victoria style anyway. This product line puts me in the mood for fall and redecorating in this style would be perfect!

Ha! I guess I'm not the only one that is reminded of Little House on the Prairie. I'm reading through the series right now with my daughter so it's not far from my mind. She turns five on the first and this paper would be great to scrapbook her cowgirl themed party. Her cowgirl hat is red so we're using red to decorate.

I really like this collection - the colors lend a deeper feel so that even though it's floral, I (a male), wouldn't have a problem using this - so much fresher than pink and baby blue flowers!

Jenni Bowlin is a designer's designer. She never disappoints. Her designs are always *fresh* in a market that can have a lot of similarities and repeats across many different companies.
The Town Square collection shows her mastery to land the right balance using two very intense colors while making them both pop! Amazing.
Personally, I can never get enough of the 4x4 miniature papers. They work in so many projects effortlessly.

what i love about jbs is that her papers are timeless. i really don't have to worry about what or when i use her papers because they are so flexible.
