Calling All Bag Ladies!

I'm pretty sure you've never dreamed of becoming a bag lady, friends, but today I'm thinking those aspirations (or lack thereof) may definitely have changed!

For our next Moxie Fab World Challenge, I'd like to see what you create using these moxie fab bags as inspiration:

Poppy Pastiche Bag from Anthropologie

Bright & Breezy Tote from Sundance

Reid Velvet Satchel from Fossil

Flower Power Bag from Sundance

How do you become a Moxie Fab Bag Lady? Create a paper-crafted project that gains its inspiration from any one of these bags. You can be inspired by the color scheme, the patterns, the "sketch," the shape, or anything else that causes you to say, "Ooo! I know what I'll do with that!" Just be sure to leave a note on your project that tells us which bag you were inspired by so we can all make the comparison.

Upload your project to the Moxie Fab World Bag Lady Challenge Group by midnight MST on Monday, August 10 by clicking here. I'll post the winners on Wednesday, August 13.

Have fun, friends! You are going to make some stylin' bag ladies, that's fo sho!

I love playing in the Moxie Fab World,

~Cath

Now isn't the timing on this post awesome for me. I was just searching cool handbags for a project last night. I need not look any further. I'm going to play in my first challenge with you. I read your blog and comment daily, but never participate. Here goes....

Oh wow! What fabulous inspiration Cath! I'm going to have to make time to play along. The hardest part is going to be deciding which bag to be inspired with. They are all so fun! And hmmmm...I think I need a shopping trip to update my wardrobe!

Have fun at CHA!

What fun! I want to be a bag lady . . . for this challenge at least (I'm personally missing the "must have purses" gene!) Awesome challenge!

I'll make it easier for you, Julia. You're welcome to submit as many designs as you'd like...so you could be inspired by all 5! Have fun!

Oooh Can't wait to play! Why is it that for each bag I see, a crafting buddy's name pops into my head? :-) Isn't it amazing how our styles speak for themselves? Fun stuff!

I LOVE purses! OMG I'm such a bag lady. My favorite is the Paige Crossbody Bag by Fossil with the patchwork in fun prints. So inspiring!

I'm doing the happy dance because I entered my first Moxie Fab Challenge. You inspired me to create my own handbag and matching wallet, and even put a tutorial together which I will post on my blog. Thanks for this wonderful challenge and great inspiration!

I have a few questions:
1. How many entries can we submit?
2. Must the LO be new?

Thanks!

Great challenge! Project uploaded to flickr.

Have a nice day!

Hi Brainybairn,
You can enter as many times as you like. Your layout/project does not need to be new, but it does need to gain its inspiration from one of the purses.

Hope this helps, and hope to see your entries in the gallery! Have fun!

Just a quick question. I uploaded a card for this challenge, and I can see 24 cards including my entry, if I am logged on to Yahoo. If I am not logged on, I can only view 15 cards. I sent the link to my sister, but since she doesn't have a Yahoo account, she can only see 15 cards as well. Is this how it is supposed to work? This was my first upload so I guess I am clueless... thanks!

Oops, never mind. I see that flickr requires that 5 cards be uploaded before any will show up in groups, so I have done that and now I can see my card.
