Ever since I started working as creative editor for Paper Crafts magazine exactly 4 years and 8 days ago, I immediately recognized that the moxie fab manufacturing company known as Sassafras Lass is on the leading edge of trends.
As each CHA rolls around, they are at the top of my hurry-up-I've-got-to-see-what-they've-launched list of booths to visit. At CHA winter this past February, they certainly did not disappoint. In fact, I think that my good friends at the Sass-Lass are in top form. Their querky-funky approach to retro-vintage has a familiar sweetness that both takes me back in time while launching me into the present, and possibly the future. For their trendy take on paper crafting product is unlike any other that I've seen.
Let's take a look-see at what I'm talking about. Here's Anthem:

I LOVE both of these collections!!!! It's hard to pick, b/c they're both great. But... if I 'had' to pick, I'd go with Vintage Yummy b/c it has a bit more feminine flair. With a house full of boys, I kind of gravitate to things like that. :)
Hard decision.. if I had to choose one, I'd go with Anthem, tho I love them both!
I love them both but if I have to pick just one I would go with Anthem ... that Ticket to Freedom paper just took my back!
I think I like Vintage Yummy the best, only because I love the girly patterns. Both sets have amazing choice colors though. But then again, since I don't always do pages of myself, it might be best to get more "boyish" type colors as well. Can't decide!
I love both; played with both; getting published using both; had one of my projects postded on the Sass blog;....My fave was Anthem. Having a son, step son and hubby; it was easier to use.

OMGosh, how to decide. It is a tie. But if I have got to pick just one, Anthem...but I will tell you rught now, they are both just awesome. WOWza! Thanks for sharing. I live 1 1/2 hour from a scrapbook store. The next time I get to go, I will be going slap crazy grabbing stuff with all the new stuff coming out.
OhMyGoodness...Sassafras is one of my all-time favorites...every week I have to do at least 1 project with their yummish goodies!!! Both lines are most fabulous but if I had to pick, I'd say ♥Vintage Yummy♥, come 'on with a name like that, who could resist??!!!

I love them both because they remind me so much of my childhood. I think Anthem is my fav because I love the bright bold colors and patterns.

Wow! Both of these collections are screaming FUN!. I'm leaning more towards Vintage yummy, but both are just that - yummy!
Can I say I like them both?! If I have to pick, Vintage Yummy takes the top spot. The Pleasantly Puzzled sheet in one of my fave got-to pieces.

oh, that is a tough one...I really like aspects from both, but i think that overall Vintage Yummy wins out - the journaling stickers are great, but the circle paper with the girl on the bike is my favorite.

They're both great, but I like Vintage Yummy the best. I love the bright, happy feel of the line. Especially Daintily which reminds me of the wallpaper my parents had up in the kitchen in the 70's!

Oh my gosh I love both of them and there are individual sheets that are must haves in each collection but I have to say I like Anthem just slightly more. That "Ticket to Freedom" paper is perfect! I'm going to have to go find that.

I love Sassafras Lass!! The Vintage Yummy line especially...the large yellow crossword puzzle look papers, and the bright colors. The frames with the retro pictures in them are a lot of fun too. I just wish they were easier to find in the stores around here!!!
