The Maya Road recipe book inspires me to make a Retro like kitchen LO of my girls in their retro lay kitchen :)
I'm loving the 1987 layout. I see it as a great way to use up little scraps of super patterned paper and pictures from way back when before the age of digital touch-ups.
I love the digital scrapbook layout. I'm so interested in digital scrapping and have yet to try it myself...this has inspired me to actually take steps towards doing it myself!

The Chic Card by Kim Hughes inspires me. I'm always collecting bits and pieces of ephemera (new and vintage) that appeal to me from a design perspective...just in case they fit in with a project. It would be so cool to make up a batch of cards like this out of all my "stuff."

That Adorn It Wreath craft kit is just the cutest! I found it after visiting the blog when she commented on a layout I did with their paper.
I love all the entries...as usual.
However, my spring/summer mantra is SIMPLIFY, especially my craft supplies...spend less and make more!
So, with that said, I choose the Chic Card by Kim Hughes (GCD) - the first entry. Her design is sooo simple and beautiful - it reminds me that scraps can be recycled or used in a very aesthetic and appealing way. Nice.

Love Canvas by Leslie Ashe is the card that I love best from this batch of amazing inspiration! The simple colour scheme really appeals to me and I have a stamp set that'll work moxie fab to give this 'recipe' a go!

I love it because It has such a patriotic feel and that's my favorite color combo.
Loved looking at ALL the creations! My favorites were Thinking of You (nice color combo) and the Wreath (striking in its simplicity).
This is really a hard choice to make. I love three of them! My favorite (if I have to choose) is the recipe book 'good eats'. Love the title, the colours and the chunky-ness of it. I just want to have it in my hands so I can touch it and read what's inside. So much fun :)

I am always impressed with things I would NEVER think of and I see that in the Chic Card. Amazing how all those completely unrelated elements come together to be beautiful. It's like the fashion stylist who put a yellow shoe with a green and purple outfit and it looks great.... until I try it :)

While all of the projects are fabulous, I like Kim Hughes' Chic Card the best. I love how she grouped multiple things that go together (butterfly, flower) in a small area of the card, leaving the rest uncluttered. LOVE it!
