Blog Bop! Manufactured Inspiration from Some Favies

Welcome to another edition of Blog Bop, friends. Once again, I've been bopping around the blogosphere to bring bouquets of beautiful inspiration for just for you. However, my spring/summer mantra is SIMPLIFY, especially my craft supplies...spend less and make more!

So, with that said, I choose the Chic Card by Kim Hughes (GCD) - the first entry. Her design is sooo simple and beautiful - it reminds me that scraps can be recycled or used in a very aesthetic and appealing way. Nice.

I am always impressed with things I would NEVER think of and I see that in the Chic Card. Amazing how all those completely unrelated elements come together to be beautiful. It's like the fashion stylist who put a yellow shoe with a green and purple outfit and it looks great.... until I try it :)

While all of the projects are fabulous, I like Kim Hughes' Chic Card the best. I love how she grouped multiple things that go together (butterfly, flower) in a small area of the card, leaving the rest uncluttered. LOVE it!

I tossed it up and came up with the Chic card by Kim Hughes. This card is clean, simple, but pretty. I like it. This is fun. :)

Sweet Corn card reminds me of the corn we used to get in Illinois -- ears of big yellow kernels. All I see is sissified white corn here in CA. Blah!

I just love the 1987 Layout by Shannon Zickel. I love how clean it looks, but it still packs a punch with the great colours. Plus, it brought back so many great high school memories for me!
