Feast your eyes on these fun projects, for all of these made the stitching aspect of their projects an integral element of the design. Whether machine-stitched or hand-sewn, these are simply moxie fab!

Here, Courtney K has used stitching as the ground, the flower stems, the frame, and most especially, the butterfly trail:

In this beautiful card, Julia Stainton has not only pieced the different patterned papers together with machine stitching, but she has used silk ribbon embroidery as the blossoms on the branches:

And this amazing design? It's almost entirely freehand machine stitched by Fifi-T sewing:

Talk about the stitching being an integral part of the design! I love how this felt bird is outlined with a zig-zag stitch, and I love the detail of the silk ribbon embroidered flowers in conjunction with the feather stitch on the wing! Bravo, Cindy Holshouser!

The flourish on this card is beautifully stitched, but I also love how Ashley Harris added the rhinestones to accentuate it in just the right spots:

In this fun card by Brit Swiderski, the stitching is the design:

And what's not to love about this stitched rainbow coming out of this stitched, puffy cloud, with the stitched accents in the sentiment? I love this, Heidi Van Laar!

Join me in giving these gals a shout-out, friends! I'm sure they'd all love to hear what you love about their designs!

These are all so FABulous! WOW! You picked an awesome bunch of eye candy for us this time, Cath!
These are all just fantastic. I am inspired. The original challenge gave me a nudge-so I am in the process of making "stitch" templates by recycling the packaging from some of my scrap products. I print out whatever design I want, put it under the clear acrylic, and use sharpies to "dot" my pattern. Being totally OCD-I have to measure to make sure the spaces are even. Than I use my paper piercer to make the holes. After some trial and error-I figured out to print my images reversed so I can use the flat side of the acrylic.
WOW! These cards are FABulous! I'm not one to spend a lot of time sewing - I don't even have a machine...so when I see artwork like this - I'm just floored! Great work, ladies!! Congrats!!
The cards were simply amazing and so beautifully created! Kudos to all the winners!!!!!
WOWSERS!!!!! AMAZING cards, every single one of them! I sure am inspired!!!
