Moxie Monday: Maya Road Gift Items for Day 1 of Cards & Gifts Week!

It's Moxie Monday, friends! And a special Moxie Monday at that! Today is Day 1 of Cards & Gifts Week here in both the Moxie Fab World and also on Paper Crafts Connection blog where you'll have a chance to win a Big Prize each and every day on both blogs!

For example, today over on Paper Crafts Connection, Maren Benedict is being featured. She's talking about her creative process AND you can comment-to-win a stamp set from Unity Stamp Company! Make sure you click on over!

Since 225 Cards & Gifts is all about paper crafting gifts for all the different people and occasions in your life, I thought it would be fun to show this moxie fab collection of uber cool gift items you can paper craft from one of my favorite companies, Maya Road! Like this Clutch Purse Album, perfect for moms, girlfriends, and daughters:

Or how 'bout this 3-Ring Tab Swatchbook? The album-inical possibilites here are endless!

Wouldn't this Card Box & Cards make a great gift? You could cute-up the outside, then fill it full of birthday tags, love coupons, or even a count-down calendar to a fun event!

This trendy Butterfly Accordion Album would be great for a Mother's Day gift, for Teacher Appreciation Week, or as an album for a teenaged girl:

I just love the hearty versatility of this Heart Binder Album:

And this Long Binder with Envelopes? It could be a great organizational gift for a fellow paper crafter, an album you can fill with sentimental trinkets, or even a project for one of the men in your life:

This Tea Break Tin would be a perfect reusable gift container:

While I love the playfulness of these Bird Chipboard Coaster Book:

Is there someone in your life who would appreciate a project made with this Sheer Crown Coaster Album?

Or how 'bout this trendy Nature Key Chain Set?

I just love the different edges on this Mixed Layer Book:

But my absolute favie is this Bungalow kit. You could dude it up, put a gift inside, and the recipient could display it proudly as part of her home decor:

Oh the gifty possiblities, friends! I'd love to send these items your way! Leave a comment by Sunday, April 26 at midnight MST telling us which gift item you would paper craft, for whom, and why--and I'll draw a random winner to receive the entire set!

As we continue to celebrate the heartfelt nature of paper crafting embodied in 225 Cards & Gifts, I've got an amazing prize giveaway for you tomorrow as well--so be sure and stop on by!

Who loves Cards & Gifts Week? I do! I do!

I love them all, but I'd probably pick the Bird Chipboard Coaster Album. My sister owns a quaker parrot named Cleo that I baby-sit when she goes away. I have tons of photos of her. I'd love to make an album for her using Cleo's colors and add photos. I might even add one of those sound thingys and record Cleo when she laughs, then add it to the album.

I think that clutch purse is the coolest. I would probably use it to create a photo album of an old friend that passed away last week and give it to his mom with all the pics of the good old days and all of his friends with signatures and good wishes for her and their family. It would be perfect. But really all of these products are inspiring and there are so many uses for them. I already own several of them but one could always find multiple uses for them.

Jeni said...

JenMarie said...

Oh I love them all but I'd love to fix up the crown from my little cousin!

fromtheowlsnest said...

wow...I am loving it all. I have used the card box and card set to make a "phone book" for my son with the pictures above each phone number so he can call whoever he wants whenever he wants....just ask his two sisters...LOL. And now my grandson wants one too....it would be a great learning tool for him to learn his numbers. But I really love that bungalow and I would create it for my mother who lives with us so she could "have a house of her own" because I know it bothers her to give up her independence and live with us. Thanks!! Sharon

I have this idea for the long binder with envelopes that has been rolling around in my brain for a while. I want to create an ICE(In Case of an Emergency) book about me. I would leave some special instructions of my wishes and thoughts, as well as things like the password to my blog(so my family could post or whatever) and I would include special notes in the envelopes.
I know its a bit sad or morbid, but I lost my mom when I was young, and something like this would have been such a gift.

That purse album is way to cute! The mixed layer book came in a close second. I would make a mini album for my mom. She has been an HUGE lifesaver for me the past couple of months. She used up all her time off work to help me when I went into labor 6 weeks early and had to spend almost two weeks away from home and my 3 year old while trying to stop the labor and then when they couldn't, time in the NICU with my new little one. I don't know how I would have made it through that time without her.

I really like the idea of paper crafting the bird chipboard coaster set, I just can't imagine the endless possibilities in decorating the birdies, all different colors and textures!

The tea tin I can see as a perfect gift for my tea house loving friend. If I win I'd have enough time to decorate it by her birthday this summer!

I would love to use the Bungalow Kit with some fun papers to make a gift for my mom! She's a bird lover and is dreaming about opening a little shop called 'For The Birds'. A little picture book and a decorated house would be perfect for her!

Kellymb said...

I would use the bungalow kit for a christmas album/holder. All dolled up like a gingerbread house!

And the crown... that would be the perfect mini album for my 4 year old's birthday pictures!

Oh the possibilities! I love them all. Some of them I've never seen before. I have wanted the mixed layer book for quite a while now, so I would say that is my fave, but I love the bungalow. So cute!!

I would love to play with the Sheer Crown album. I would make it for 8-year old niece - she is such a little princess.

Everything is ADORABLE, or course. I'd be happy to win any of them. But I'd have to say the clutch purse is my favorite.

You would laugh if you knew me...because my pet peeve is large purses. I can't stand them (can you tell I don't have kids?). Women are uncontrolable with their purses. Bumping into people and not minding the space.

However, in this case....I love the purse because I love to organize. I would decorate this for my good friend Rebecca. She and I get together weekly to make birthday cards. And she would LOVE to have a decorated purse to store her birthday and anniversary cards.

Thanks for sharing.

Picking one is not exactly feasible, but if I stretch myself, I guess I will pick the Mixed Layer Book and make an album for my father (as the one I did for both my parents got snapped by my f-a-b-u-l-o-u-s mom).
Thanks for the chance to win all this goodness.

I love the house set.....these always intrigue me! I would make it for my Mom, as right now with the economy in Michigan we are all about family and helping each other, the house reminds me of family!I would make it for Mom's birthday May 6th, she will be 82 and she still lives alone and takes care of herself...we are so blessed!

I love, love, love all the maya road projects. It's soooo hard to choose. Today I would pick the card box and cards to do a mini album for my mom for Mother's Day. I'd put pics of all the kids, grand-kids and great-grands so she'd have them all in one spot to show off to her friends. Thanks for the opportunity!

How adorable is that Bungalow!!? I'm torn between that and the Clutch Purse. My 7 yr. old DD loves to look at my scrapbook albums and she LOVES purses so I would love to make that into a sweet little scrapbook purse all about her and her BFF. But my DS is in the process of building her first house and the little Bungalow house would be perfect to decorate and put a mini-album of her house along the way. They're all SO adorable!! Thanks for the chance to win!

Hard choice!! I would choose the card box with cards. We will be celebrating my mother's 85th birthday this summer and I would fill the cards with special photos of her with family members or wait and fill it with photos from her b-day. Love making mini albums as gifts.

I love all those items. I could use each one for a project. I can see the chipboard butterflies being a staple craft item. I could use it on layouts, mini albums, and decor items. I think I would love to do a mini book with my daughters pictures that I just took in our garden. I could paint them, put sparkles or ink on them. These are all great products from Maya Road.

I woudl love to play with the bungalow. That is so cute and new. You could always make it look like someone's actual house when giving it away. That would be a fun project. It would be a mini house. Someday I would like to do my house in miniature. Crazy but fun
