And as yet another example, you can upload a card for our Stamp It! Week Challenge by midnight MST on Monday, March 23. The best will win a super duper prize package AND be featured on either Paper Crafts Connection or here in the Moxie Fab World on Thursday, March 26. BANG!

And if you're really smart, you'll take that card you entered in the aforementioned challenge, and you'll pop it in the snail mail so it gets postmarked by no later than midnight on Monday, March 23, for a chance to win our Stamping Royalty Contest and be published in the November/December 2009 issue! BANG!

Ready for more examples? Today I have examples aplenty for stamping inspiration. For not only is Stamp It! Cards your one-stop publication for all things stampy, but inspiration is everywhere in the blogosphere--simply with the click of a mouse.

Lately I'm drawn to the clean simple lines of cards like those featured on the Amuse site and the beautiful flower card posted by Julie - I've been trying my hand at using more white space lately! I also LOVE the bunny card with the stand up portion of the mama bunny - which reminds me of an Easter bunny card I was thinking I should make! Excuse me ... I've gotta go play!

What inspires me about the cards featured is the difference in styles. Some are stamped with one ink and very simple yet elegant, others are whimisical and fun and colored in, they offer backgrounds, sentiments, scenes, patterns, and more which gives lots of ideas. Hooray is certainly right! You guys are awesome!!! Thanks for the fun opportunity to have a chance at so much wonderful stuff! I draw inspiration from each and every one of these amazing cards. When people ask me, "How do you come up with your ideas?" I always tell them that looking through magazines and idea books fuels my creativity. Tiny parts of each sample I see is stored in my brain (and heart.) And even though I may not actually CASE a particular card, every element of my card HAD to be inspired by some other fantastic paper crafter (or God Himself.)

What wonderful inspiration that you found in the blogosphere! I am really inspired by Michele's card as she didn't do a whole lot of layering, but created a lot of interest with the two panels of dp and stitching behind her floral image. I find myself inspired by Betsy's ribbon. It's not the traditional tied around the card in a nice little bow! Thanks for the wonderful eye candy and the chance to win!

Holly said...

I love Julie Ebersole's clean and simple and beautiful card. We need more clean and simple cards that we can pop in the mail. I don't want to worry about my card getting torn in the mail because of a button or bow or some other bulky embellishment.

I am really drawn to the "Captured My Fancy" card by Tanis Giesbrecht. I really like how she has the "y" dangling over the paper. Very well thought out card that doesn't look like everything else out there!

I am really inspired by Kim Hughes card. Her new stamp sets are a bold step forward from her adorable creations. I think it serves as a good reminder that once you find your style it's still okay to get out there and expirement and try new things. Styles do evolve, just like you.

Julie Ebersole's card reminds me how effective and beautiful a simple card can be. Cards don't have to be adorned with layers of paper and embellishments to be striking and gorgeous. Thanks Julie, simplicity at it's best.

All the cards are great. I am inspired most by the cards that have a lot of little, unusual touches - the stacked layers on Lisa's card, the fancy cut ends on the ribbons on the Easter card, etc.

I really love the damask on the last card and the metal embellishment. The color combo is really great too.

p.s. I also love the new blog banner, Happy Spring!
