The Eveningwear Challenge Winners

A big fat moxie fab WOW! I'm not sure who's inspired whom more with this challenge. I think many of you were inspired to make a card based on the eveningwear options I showed you, but all y'all have quite inspired me to provide lots more of these challenges because I could tell how much fun you had with this! Seriously! Thanks for all the moxie fabulous ideas!

I am very impressed with all of these cards. They are magnificent adaptations of the dresses I chose from White House Black Market and Ann Taylor in the challenge.

Here's what I'm talkin' about:

...cards4ever came up with this fun number:

She's taken a patterned paper that echoes the pattern on the dress and added the black trim to the top, reminiscent of the dress's square neck. I love the square-ness of the card and the bold letters of the sentiment. This card would be perfect for a fashionista mom, that's fo sho.

S A J Mom has created this lovely card:

I love that she's maintained the floral overlay element but she's also kept it clean and simple, just like the lines of the dress.

...paperdollsteph offers this brilliant translation:

...a beautiful, metallic New Year's card. I love that she's stayed true to the textures in the dress--the slick metallic paper in the background with the frosty snowflake in the foreground. Moxie fab!

raebarthel was inspired by the Lace Dress:

...in this beautiful, exact, translation:

From the lacy top to the hounds tooth middle to the ribbon 'round the center to the white on the bottom with the gorgeous treatment of the font and the bling that provides just the right touch, this card amazes me!

I, personally, was most inspired by the Champagne Ruffle Dress:

...and when I saw what Natasha did with it in this card:

...I gasped with delight. (I'm not even kidding. I really do do that.) I mean, look at the translated color palette, the ruffles, the band at the top, the sentiment that traces the neckline, I mean the ribbon line, and the font that fits just perfectly--not too elegant, not too cute. Kudos, Natasha--and to all the winners of this challenge.

You have, indeed, inspired me!
