Get Woodsy Winners!

Today in the Moxie Fab World, I'll be treating 5 Trendy Trinas to some tremendous trinkets for their submissions in the Get Woodsy Christmas challenge! Love this cutie pie deer, the sentiment which is in a perfect font for the mood being created by this card, the color combination, and the snowflakes--each of which is different. Moxie fab!

Owl Holiday Tag by ck21:

The composition of this tag is divine. Note how your eye moves from the owl to the sentiment to the branch which brings you right back to the owl. The fact that it's shaped like a circle helps keep your eye held into this little guy's circular world. And--it's super cute!

Hoo Hoo Hoo by julie_stamps:

This is a very trendy card due to the woodgrain background, the pixelated owl, and the punny sentiment.

No Peeking! by Perky Nihilist:

I love the humorous aspect of these gnomes going to such great efforts to see what is inside of this super-sized gift! I also love the fun color combination and the mixture of patterns.

I am in total love with the elegant simplicity of this card. The unmistakable color scheme, the regal posture of the buck, the understated sentiment, the pattern of the black and white background paper being echoed in the texture of the black on black behind the buck, and the festive ornaments hanging from the buck's rack--all these elements are in perfect balance with one another, causing me to have a strong emotional reaction to this card. It takes me back to my days teaching French in which I might have said, "C'est magnifique, non?"
