Wednesday Woots!

Drum roll, please! We have not one, not two, but three winners of the Moxie Fab World Challenge #2: Design a thank you/gratitude/Thanksgiving card using the colors orange and purple.

Ladies, I'm not going to lie, it was tough to decide, but here are the winning cards:

Moxie Fab Alert: I love the simplicity of this card. The grouping of the flowers in this great color combination as a focal point with a bold sentiment and all that white space makes me really happy. This card reminds me of something I would find in a stationery store!

Moxie Fab Alert: I love many things about this card. I love the composition, with the two rectangles broken up with both a horizontal and a vertical band. I love the bling flower focal point, the stitching around the outside border, and the sentiment. The font is perfect (even sized right!) for the mood that is being created by this card. Moxie fab!

Moxie Fab Alert: I just love the soft floral aspect of the purple and orange patterned paper. The twine that ties on the sentiment adds to the natural feel of the card. This is, of course, accentuated by the branch--a lovely focal point for a card that is meant to be given in this season of gratitude.

In the meantime, who's up for some turkey? I am hosting the holiday in my circle of peeps and I've got a bunch still to do! I made the pies last night (pumpkin, apple, and chocolate), and today I've got to clean the house, prepare the linens, set the table, help my hubby brine our free-range turkey (never done this before, we'll see how it goes), make the stuffing and the rolls, and maybe just maybe plop down in front of the TV for a movie with the fam.
